It should be ship based, not clone based--- reputation is still a thing, and allowing me to rename a clone just means I'll never return to my original body again.

To avoid discovery, all marauders are equipped with scuttle charges. When the ship is destroyed it drops a can with what would have been the loot, and the wreck and pod are vaporized instantly.

Marauders are now do or die propositions, you go in and if defeated you wake up wet. The only way to stage an ongoing campaign would be to use a clone vat on a titan or something, or have your deathclone nearby---furthering the chances of being found out either way.

AH! Thank you very much!

I knew I had left something out of this thread. (It was posted in another thread around the same time)
I left it out of the OP here by mistake
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=3410470#post3410470

Specifically:
The price for this? In the event the ship is destroyed, the pod is NOT ejected, but destroyed along with the ship. This preserves the anonymity of the pilot.

Updating the OP with this, I can't believe I forgot that part... TY Mike!

3. Pilots take advantage of being anonymous to attack smaller entities with no risk of causing grief, so CFC can use Marauder fleets to kill whoever they want without being back traced allowing them to put blame on others, while simultaneously profiting through the roof from the massive upswing in value of T2 materials from all the Marauders used....

You are all forgetting one of the Golden rules of EVE. If it benefits a smaller entity, it benefits the larger entity more.

Yes, but you are using what is effectively a half truth here.

A larger entity can indeed make use of it, and on a larger scale. A larger entity can do everything on a larger scale for that matter, so this should come as no surprise.

The truly important detail, is that it changes the ability of smaller entities to use such tactics towards a much higher value.

They would otherwise have far more difficulty doing this type of attack, while a larger entity could work around it more effectively. A larger entity has less need to conceal it's identity, for obvious reasons.

Larger entities attacking smaller ones is a common occurance.
It only becomes a notable event when they fail, or find themselves on the losing end.
