Btw Dude ur not welcome in my corp , not now not in a hundred years your a marked man....I hope it was worth it. Trust has its own currency....and your NAME reflects its value.
Dude, your issues... they're showing!
I don't see why all the "your gaming character is who you are in real life" needs to project their moral insecurity.

What do you have to hide?
Do you mine or mission run? That is causing a lot of harm to fictional spacepixel simulating background people.

Yeah, your issues ... please keep them to yourself.

Cool

Eve.. The only game where not only can you embezzlea, steal, extort, run trading cartels, monopolise and scam people.. it's also the only game where when you do such things, you're lauded by the developers for a good heist.

Protip: with 45b in pocket he can just buy another character.

One way to do it. Hm, current 2004/80M SP toon was last sold for 25B or so...

Rather should spend money this way:
- 20B bribe to CCP to rename the character "Dr Richard Kimble"
- 25B to live most interesting EVE life

I don't know, these cash grab stories are always a bit dry without the details.

For all I know his CEO could have been his girl friend he had a fallout with and unlike a true man he didn't get drunk like a sailor, but geekily logged into EVE and robbed some corp assets. ;)

IMHO, a good heist lives through the story, not the actual amount.

Anyone can be with a corp since founding, have a good position because - hell, you must trust some guys unless you're super-CEO - be friends with guys and there is no real skill to the heist then.

Its like I invite a friend, go to the toilet and later find he took a grab from my wallet. = No good story... Rather sad, too
Carefully planned EVE heists/scams: Great reads! Sometimes make the newspapers.

Anyway, OP, enjoy your 45B...

That statement above is literally dripping with butthurt. (try getting that mental image out of your head, readers!)

So, if you do, as you state, have no issues, why on earth would you jump in here and try to run him down? Do you care so much for the hurt feelings of the poor imbeciles he robbed? Are you avenging some wrong done to you earlier in life?

Or maybe you are attempting to bathe your own self gratification in some kind of falsely assumed moral superiority?

Or one of any other myriad of reasons one might be white knighting, I've seen a lot of them.

Too late. And true story, I was eating a double fudge brownie (was, with the fudge kind of runny and...dripping....) when i read that and suddenly lost my apatite for some reason. Got it back 5 mins later, it was too Delicious to let any thing stand between it and me. Now to go outside and walk it off...

So you just claimed to have issues to make a joke?
Okay, whatever floats your boat I guess. Good to know that you're not a part of the REMS* brigade.

*REMS = Reality Expressing Moral Superiority, the notion that a gamer is expressing his "actual" self through videogames, and the people who act a certain way are morally deficient, not just in a game but also by necessity in real life. On the other hand, those who oppose such acts in videogames are morally superior, both in the game and in real life, by expressing their distaste for videogame behaviour.
Yes, I just coined&defined that term, yes you may use it free of charge, especially w. proper attribution.

The aim of this game is to do whatever you want, so long as you remain within the EULA and the ToS. If your thing is stealing from the rich to give to yourself, go do it. If you want to manipulate the market to make oodles of ISK, feel free. If you want violence other people's boats and steal their loot, have at it.

Your Eve experience is not defined by what you cannot do. It is defined by what you choose to do.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Everyone is always repeating the mantra "Don't Trust Anyone" ad nauseum... If I can't trust the guys I play with, why bother playing with them at all? Fly Solo...

Oh god another special snowflake that thinks what a person does in a game is a reflection on what they're like in real life.

I've got news for you, games are an escape from real life not a reflection of it. I can play CoD, BF or MoH and slaughter everything in my path, I can play GTA, pick up a lady of negotiable affections and then beat her to death with a dildo to get my money back, then go and start a massive gunfight with the police and massacre them all, I can rob you blind before stabbing you in the back in Eve, it doesn't mean that I'm a raving psychopath in real life, it just means that I play at being one in a game. If you can't separate reality from fantasy I suggest you get help.

Now why would anyone want to play at being a raving psychopath in a game if it isn't to express suppressed real life desires? As far as I'm concerned the only reason an ingame scammer/thief hasn't done similar actions in real life is because they have not been in a position to do so or are simply too afraid of the consequences.

The community is still better than League of Legends. I didn't even know it was possible to be a ****, a *****, a ******, a ********** and a jew at the same time, but apparently I am one for locking in Blitzcrank a full 30 seconds before the guy who cussed me out.

This community on the other hand, while ruthless, is actually pretty cool. Mostly because the ruthlessness tends to scare away the stuffed up tweenage morons.

I couldn't ask for a better community.
