Say today Tritanium becomes depleted, We have no more ways of gathering it, Veldspar, Reprocessing etc etc. What's the ETA on the crash of the economy and then what's the ETA of all fleets having to be done in IBIS's because the cost of losing a ship is to detrimental to a corp.

I wouldn't worry. The bot armies will keep the tritanium flowing since all those Ibis' come with a free unit of trit...

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Would we not still be able to build T3 cruiser?

This is space we are talking about! The only thing that we have to worry about running out of is Technetium. What then? WHAT THEN? Chaos I tell you.

If no one mined anymore, CCP would seed it on the market. Can't have a spaceship game without spaceships

Of course you could build it but at some point the cost of Trit would be so high it would be unthinkable to build anything besides frigates or destroyers. Trit being needed in everything means if it Stops becoming harvestable you would have basically an Expiration date on how many ships you can make.

Ammo might be a problem though. And modules.

edit: Although the thought of fitting a T3 with nothing but civilian modules amuses me.

Duh. Bot armies would create throwaway accounts to farm the newbie tutorial missions for equipment (and reprocess for trit.)

Crisis averte.

Edit: oops no reprocessing allowed.

He said no reprocessing in the OP. He kinda proofed his point hard. I can only see the free trit in each noob ship as a solution.

We would catch Chribba and shake it out of him.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

I kinda want someone like Chribba to buy up all of the Trit on the Jita market. It probably would cause a bit of a market panic. There's 187b isk worth of Trit on the Jita market at the moment, so it's not even that big of a stretch to do. Would certainly make the news if nothing else.

We'd go back to belt ratting in Delve to farm hauler spawns. They're pretty common down there thanks to the ol' 'broken truesec' mechanic.

The irony when T3s become the cheapest ships on the market... No more whining to rebalance them if everyone flies 'em Lol
