I realize that there are limits your server can handle in terms of connections to clusters....

I've always thought that one method you could use to alleviate congestion is to allow people to have goods bought in Jita automatically delivered by (insert RP friendly NPC service here) to any of the adjacent systems.

Perhaps this would only be allowed used on days where your hardware cannot keep up with the amount of people trying to enter the

TLDR: If Jita can be shut down with only 2k Players so can any other node allowing for pvp exploits to take place. Then the player base will be really upset when a major battle is decided by this artificial cap.

I realize I'll be dumped on for not immediately flaming the OP. But if you think about it, he has a point. I don't think the solution is to add npc's shipping goods to adjacent systems because that takes a way a service players are providing. I would like to see Jita node limit raised and supported by additional hardware. CCP needs to have a 2-3 super nodes available at all times if they wish to keep everything running smoothly and increasing customer satisfaction. I applaud them for making 6vDT-H battle playable with 4k players in the same space having a battle. But I also want to see them make this experience better. 1% Tidi for 4 hours was awful and not fun at all. Running at 25% would be my first goal as a coder. Hardware limitations are being pushed everyday so let Eve online be the game the sets new precedence.

Jita is the only node that gets 2k plus traffic on a regular basis like it does. So use it to test out more efficient methods that us combat types can exploit for larger faster battles. Keep on trucking CCP but do it faster please.

The demand for horsepower will always exceed what CCP can offer,
as long as there are enough people around to utilise said horsepower.

Raising popcaps through additional performance would not stop people from asking for more performance,
unless CCP finds a way to exceed demand, which isn't possible unless they remove players from the game...

Pretty much this. Doubly true when it's fights (which really tax the servers) between blobbers.
