I don't think these are great for 2 reasons.

One is just the internet quality and such in various parts of the world. Not a problem for me but I'm sure it effects a lot of people

2nd Which just happened. These forums still like to eat posts. Not helpful.

Maybe random correct answer in the first 2 minutes or something.

I have to agree there, those aren't much fun. Some of the contests weren't announced on air in advance so whoever reloads the forum like crazy or happens to stumble upon the thread by chance first wins, and the others were just super-hectic probably won by someone with a fast PC and internet connection.

Random correct answer in first 2 minutes sounds like an improvement. The only small problem about it might be a bunch of copied answers, though in 2 minutes there shouldn't be too many.

Another possibility would be to make the questions hard enough so that thinking time >> posting time.

It should be more like...they announce it before the match and it should last whole match... after that they take all correct answers and randomly select a winner.

Just wanted to say thanks to the community devs for improving the contest format and making them much more fun. I much rather lose to random chance than having to spam dscan on the forums every few seconds.
