OK, new launcher update to 2.1.569300

Works like a charm on one computer, on the other... not so much.

Start the launcer, update starts. The launcher automatically closes and as soon as it gets up... it´s still the old version, and tells me it can't connect to eve server and "restart launcher" option which never works.

1. Please make the launcher update work next time. Please CCP, please!
2. Please take away the "restart launcher" option, since the only thing it leads to is repetition. It never solves anything, just goes to the same state again...

I have feelings, I can smile - and murder while!

I appear to be having the same issue. Between yesterday and today, I can no longer connect. I am able to ping server at 87.237.38.200 but the launcher seems to not work. Tried repair tool, nothing. Rebooting and Running it again, to see if there are any changes.

UPDATE: Launcher was busted again. After running repair tool, and rebooting, running it again, and trying to run eve directly from shortcut, finally went in to eve/launcher/cache and ran the updater.exe in there, and it seems to be loading now. Or at least trying to. It is re validating the client, but at least its in online mode. It worked. I am online.

I really dislike the launcher, but love the repair tool.

Yes, was wondering the same thing about the installer? I tried the update on the new installer and worked the repair tool but the tool itself had an error so I deleted all the files as well as the program, and tried reinstalling and archive error 3 pops up so I tried installing the offline and still archive error pops up. Could use some help in regards to what I can do to reinstall the program!

I'm sure it's been mention more than once in issues, bug report..... but that might help to have it mention again!

The 'use tracking camera' option is broken!!!

Please fix it!
Gives you sea (or space) sickness.
I'm on the 'verge of vomitting' each time i salvage a site.

The problem seems to be on PC, Mac.... everywhere.

Can you please move the rent/unrent buttons away from the tabs?

This has got to be a bug

since no one in their right mind would situate these buttons there and give them focus every time you dock.

ever since update on July 18 eve will not display on my monitors. I hear it on background but will no show up. it runs just not showing on screen.

worked fine before the launch, July 17th.

Had to reinstall EVE while making room for new stuff bought in the steam sale.

Now got launcher issues again - won't launch at all through steam. While that's not really a big issue for me, it will be for anyone who wants to collect the steam cards.

Don't even ask for the cache files because there aren't any and I'm not spending another two days looking for solutions to your problems.

I couldn't get in either, at what should've been the the character select screen it just stayed black. I've tried downloading and re-installing except now I get *Archive Failed:1003*. And when I check with winrar it tells me this download files are corrupt for the offline installer. So, now I can't install either online or offline... Idk what to do at this point as I've tried downloading and re-installing 10 times in the past 24 hrs and it fails every time.

Mac: remapped "recall drones to bay" to CTRL-O (and orbit to CTRL-SHIFT-O). This worked pre-Odyssey. Post-Od it only works until I do a session change, at which point I need to reset the hot-key for it to work again.

Aren't Caldari supposed to have a large signature?

Contracts interface, selecting items. Right click and 'split stack'. Enter a quantity, and click button. Nothing happens. (It used to split the stack and then redraw the entire list box).

Issue: Faulty Jam Indicator:

Background: When using ewar on a ship, a successfully applied ewar is shown as a solid icon below the target. An unsuccessfully applied EWAR is shown as an opaque icon below the target.

Issue: Normally, ECM Indications work perfectly. However, if your target is receiving Projected ECCM, quite often your jam indicator will show a successful jam, while the target is NOT Jammed. This is easily repeated, is a "minor" issue in the grand scheme of things, but is a major annoyance to frugal ECM pilots (because they think the target is jammed when it is NOT).

Greygal created a video, and submitted a bug report. I thought I'd post this UI bug here, too.

Issue: gate activation sound

Background: whenever another player activates a gate, the gate activation sound is not generated. You can see the gate activation animation, but you can no longer hear the proper sound.

When a player from your system goes Outbound a really really really really REALLY! faint sound can be heared as if a wormhole is collapsing. *but it is not BY FAR the old sounds*

When a player from another system comes inbound to your system, no activation sound can be heard. nothing.

This is on a PC client. tested both live and SISI.

The distance to the gate does not have any effect.
The static sound the gate makes CAN be heared
This issue is the same on a New Fresh client install on multiple computers

I just paid for this game again, about a week ago.. And I keep getting this crap with ccp.exe staying minimalized, and not responding.. I have literally tried EVERYTHING suggested.. And I'm seriously thinking about trying to get a refund.. Because I have not got to touvh this damn game I love so much once.. :/ Man.. if you guys could do something about that.. That would make my week.. For real. Oops

There's a problem with issuing a courier contract starting from Assets - the Assets never update online - need to be closed and reopened again.
Even when there's cargo bolume updated, the contract also takes the previous values.

i.e. I have a 45 Capital Cargo Bays located in Amarr.
I want to create 3 contracts: 20, 20 and 5 pcs each for courier.

After making the first one, the second contract shows these items were not updated and tries to contract all 45 pcs (in packs of 20, 5 and 20).

Thanks Big smile - but now that it does exist I still think it makes sense to move the two systems apart.
