Too bad CCP nerfed the doomsday device long ago, they could have dropped a few titans on it and rake in some nice kills <3

The count of players from 6vdt, 4-ep, karan and hophib together would make 4272 players alone! :O I hope ccp got their best piece of gear out for this... for me.. I might be getting out a covop and fly over to see it live Bear. ..... wheres my popcorn?!

We needed to split our troups between you and test. Once we overloaded jita node with 9 fleets of 255 megathrons, we could spare 5 alts to save VFK.

Indeed nullsec hid behind its bubble camps, but more experienced players and those who followed the advice got there.

We bombed and bubble-camped Mittanigrad. There was not much going on, but we poked the hornet's nest enough that they sent some pretty impressive hardware and deployed their best smack in local.

The highlight was when Joepopo attempted to catch Harry's double-stabbed cat with an instacane, suffering from lack of tank, and got blapped.


Good thing Harry didn't follow the advice about how he should not use stabs.


Overall I would say that a good time was had by all (except for "some" people who take this game way too seriously).


I would also say that if goons become the East India Trading Company of Eve, then our timing of this was good. There will be real piracy in this game, not that fake lowsec ganking crap we loosely call piracy now. We will encourage new players and experienced alike to haunt the goon spacelanes, look for easy targets, stragglers, and the occasional combat pilot making a mistake, and play cat & poorly-tanked (built for ganking) instacane, uh... mouse with any task forces the goons send.


Future "burn Jita" events will be answered with more incursions. For once they are sitting on their pile of moons and getting bored, they will overreach, and they will make enemies.


After this battle with TEST things are probably not going to be the same again.
