Why the Homophobic Comments during the match? It shouldn't matter if you like a team, its embarrassing watching your hateful comments.

Quit getting all offended over eve lingo. Also the word itself has multiple meanings, its not his fault you chose to associate it wit ha bad one.

I really don't think the comment by the announcer was meant to be mean.


It was just a slip. I really dislike people that like to stir up drama without thinking.

Exactly. Twitch chat was full of white knights against homophobia.
As a homosexual man I didn't think much of the comment. "***" isn't offensive in this day and age to me. We are in the age of the Internet, crap like that is thrown around everywhere so much that it's lost its meaning. Same way that when someone says "****" in a video game we all know it's not the same meaning.
Even after the comment Brent is still one of my favourite commentators of AT XI.

Uhh, you can stop the booboo. Why does every game have to have a bunch of princesses to make drama out of nothing?

Plus, the announcer team this year is better than we've ever had. Brent is the best of the bunch too.

CCP doesn't tolerate racist remarks, weather or not someone "associates it wit a bad meaning"

Why do they tolerate bigotry? Who cares if everyone uses the word, it doesn't change the hypocrisy.

People should never be offended by some idiots words, but that's not the reality. People should be respectful and not use / support potentially inflammatory language in a company sponsored event, unless of course it is a view the company supports. It doesn't matter if you think those words are meaningless; someone else might not think the same way.

It's about having respect for everyone.

Brent owns, and he brings more insight into the fights then any other commentator, also hes a gamer and I fully understand why he would slip up like that.

I was watching that stream with my wealthy partner at the moment of the hate crime. When that hateful slur spewed forth from the hatemonger's lips, my beloved was so distraught, he spilled his Cosmopolitan all over my Dolce & Gabbana trousers. The day is ruined, as are my trousers.

CCP, please issue a formal apology on a major worldwide news network. Also send me new trousers. Designer ones. If you don't, I will be forced to write a letter to Obama full of tales of hatred and bigotry from within the heart of Iceland.
