CCP - Closing Jita on busy days is not acceptable.

We don't know

CFC alone has 10 fleets up, its REALLY hard to get an idea of what is actually happening locally, its taking 5 minutes to activate guns.

So with the massive lag fest going on we were getting 1 shot off like every 4 minutes.

To put things in perspective i was able to lock up the 3 called targets shoot one, target paint the other and put a drone on the third then go afk to do laundry or the bath room and come back just as the third target would die.

Then it was rinse and repeat up until i left for work.

Btw if i am still on grid and shooting things please warp me to a safe pos. I had to leave for work like 2 hours ago. If i crashed and or died nvm this request.

Can't wait for CCP to roll out 'new and improved TiDi' or 'TiDi v 2.0'....

New features, to amuse players while waiting for actions to register during large fleet / high TiDi situations:

- A dancing (care)bear will shuffle across your screen to amuse and distract you

- Mintchip's image will randomly spawn in space for you to click on and reveal her minty boobies

- ...

(Please however don't expect them to actually fix their infrastructure & software architecture issues to address the root performance problems...its only been 10 years, a quality dynamic resource allocating architecture takes...time...)

Most performance issues these days have much more to do with design and algorithms than "programming".

Very true.

But keep in mind that EvE was designed 10+ years ago.

And it's not trivial to implement a completely new design in a running system.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.
