Shadoo: the biggest mistake of a logi pilot in the whole tournament (DS vs DD matchup)

That was the punisher pilot's mistake, which accidentally missclicked and went out of legion rep range, Muta was repping like a freaking piano gosu Cool

The frig did burn like 20km off, so it was quite noticable.

Next time you might be more attentive and competent with your comments.

We'd wondered about that afterwards, but honestly it's quite hard sometimes to tell what's going on, particularly for Shadoo or the commentator on that side of the screen. He's running off of the stream video, which often zooms in on the pretty graphics without as much regard for positioning. The other commentator has a monitor with a client on grid that can look around, so it was my fault that we were unaware how that happened. I had pretty much given up on the match and was just counting the seconds, so wasn't watching the second monitor to see what was happening and next thing we knew he was dead and had no rep icons on him.

Part of a good logistic pilots task in a tinker team revolves a lot around situational awareness, this is why as we said on stream it is deceptively easy looking setup to run.

I've been in tournament practice sessions where Tinkeng for example has screamed his lungs out when he noticed me accidentally wandering off 5km from the anchor (the logistic pilot himself usually) -- and Tinkeng isn't particularly good tinker logistic pilot Cool. The T3 tinker logistic pilot also needs to be able to quickly respond to range issues which happen more often than someone accidentally taking a walk -- namely bumping -- and be able to catch these quickly and help the brother out by moving towards them as soon as it's apparent the pilot may end out of rep range.

So, if your frigate somehow made it to 20km -- I think it'd be a real cop out to place all the blame on him. The FC and the logistic pilot in particular in a tinker setup really, really, really needs to take the reigns and control the positioning.

But thanks for the confirmation -- we did suspect that was indeed the case afterwards :)
