I call fake, if only because the notion of the Gallente being offended by S&M is laughable. Their real reaction would be more like " Been there, done that... now where do you hide the goats?"

Hm. I wonder why you think we wouldn't know where to direct such an inquiry? Everyone knows the Amarr are the experts when it comes to livestock.

It was ethnic Minmatar, not Gallente persons that were Offended. Question

I'm offended. To have such a cheap and tawdry establishment gain such high profile attention is an offense to every pleasure worker who works long hours providing the highest quality service to valued customers. As several capsuleers have already pointed out, their staff aren't even very convincing in their parts as "Amarrian" slavers. Kindof a shame, I can see the appeal to some for a more genuine experience.

Ha, My experience in Amarr space tells me the Amarrians are incapable of feeling any sort of pleasure.

Oh, I assure you from MY experience in Amarrian space that this isn't true at all. Maybe you're doing something wrong?

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

In this I must agree with Msr. Tuulinen.

I have found the Amarr a very passionate people in the truest sense of the word.

What truly amazes me is that there is this much serious discussion about a topic started by Muck Raker. Has her journalistic standards improved since I last read her stories?

Shocking...

Though her "nom de plume" might suggest otherwise, her unorthodox style often delivers the essence of a story more concisely than a more analytic attempt might.

I have often suspected that there is more to her than many suspect.

My personal experiences over the last three-plus years say you are definitely doing something wrong if that's the result you came away with.

Her stories, at face value, are invariably nonsense. If you consider them from a distance and read between the lines, there's usually a serious point present. Whether intentionally injected, or accidentally present as a result of chasing controversial (and thus profitable) topics is another question.

As to Amarrians...

Amarrian (and to a great extent, Khanid) culture tends towards insularity and control. Most of us keep our pleasures (euphemistic or otherwise) behind closed doors, because it's simply not done to make a public song and dance. Higher up on the food chain, our image and the complex dance of politics that links us all becomes vitally important to maintain. And one of the truths of humanity is... as above, so below. Hence it is easy for an outsider to view us as soulless cold fish.

There are exceptions to any rule, of course. The rumour mill about myself churns regularly, but I'm a case where the exception proves the rule. I've made a degree of controversy integral to my image, both politically and personally. It keeps my name in circulation, and that is power in itself - not to mention adding a dash of the the rebellious that appeals to some (as well as being repugnant to others, of course).

Thank you, everyone, of obviously varying backgrounds, for coming to our defense.

My apologies if our Baseliner Amarr ladies do not tend to moan filthy words on command for an ISK an hour. (price adjustable, of course, for Capsuleer economy)

Even among the Kingdom Commoners, who I can speak for from personal life experience, such behavior is unacceptable for several reasons; one, all that is heard by man is heard by God, and two ... we're simply not cheap, blunt, or use small words and small timeframes to express interests.

"I say that even as the holy and the righteous cannot rise beyond the highest which is in each one of you - so the wicked and the weak cannot fall lower than the lowest which is in you also.  And as a single leaf turns not yellow but with the silent knowledge of the whole tree, so the wrong-doer cannot do wrong without the hidden will of you all."

I thought People did Not Like these sorts of Ethnic Profiling statements ?

You know how cops are. Not known to have very delicate sensibilities, no matter where you are in the cluster. And that includes the trained spokespersons.
