So "Goon Doomsday" is a Failure...

So Goon Doomsday is a complete failure due to the lack of ability ad vision of the event creator.
So here's the question besdes the obvious "Kill something other than cynos" and "Stop crying on the forum like a kid" What would you guys have done differently if you were to have run an event like this?

Personally I'd have staged out of a nearby NPC null and built small splinter groups training them against each other in mock skirmishes, then coordinated attacks on Goons ratting/mining in and around VFK.

I certainly wouldn't have screamed "LALALA IM NOT LISTENING" for days on end.

So, what would you have done and what would you have not done had you been the original event organiser?

Uhh no, this is just an interesting topic that the forum has a lot of views on, and I'm interested in seeing what other people have to say on the matter. Anyway, Proceed people, what would you have done and what would you have not done had you been the original event organiser?

It is still on and i promise a tengu to whoever kills the first cap ship kill in vfk tomorrow.
Prize may not be claimed by an entity holding sov.

Based out of npc space run a cruiser type fleet engage random fleets fly black ops drops etc

No, it got closed because he requested it. I have no personal issues with him, but the event was a cataclysmic failure. There was however a lot of interest in the event, so it's interesting to see how others would have done it differently. The blops idea for example is pretty good.

And I can post on whatever character I want. You in fact are now here trolling me by interrupting the flow of actual ideas simply to tell me you don't agree with me posting. Post constructively or don't post.

I think the problem was humility. You can t just kill cynos and claim goonswarm will die. Especially if you don't intend to attack sovs.

I recognize how fun it can be, and encouraging hi seccers to venture in null is a great idea. Just proceed wih order and reason: he event was about the thrill to go to vfk and zap cyno frigs. Prizes should have been for people killing cynos. And maybe one joke prize for the goon pilot who lost the most cynos, to keep a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Or a cyno frig for his trouble, a dozen of them since they are so cheap.
This would have killed any argument over the fact that the original organiser had a personnal grudge against goon and did all of this because he is mad at us.
