What should be the next T3 (asking the wormhole community).

This is more of a question towards the wormhole community than a features and idea's thread (well we know what we like).

For us, as we are pretty much the primary builders and users of T3's, what should be the next T3 Type of modular ship?

Yaay!!!!

They need to balance the ships before they add another t3 ship

Battleships would obviously be fun, but limited in use and cost.

Battlecruisers would outshine battleships and already battleships don't see as much use as I would hope

Frigates would be fun, but there would be serious balance issues with them I feel. Assuming they are setup similarly to T3 cruisers, you would see cloaky logi frigates everywhere.

T3 Capitals would just be stupid and would be like having supers in WH space. No bueno.

The only obvious choice here is T3 industrials.

Change the current T3s to battlecruisers and buff some of them slightly. Then have a new range of T3 cruisers.

T3 frigates sound nice. Perhaps T3 BS.

Honestly, I don't think there's a role for a new T3 ship to fill, they'd have to create one or replace currently implemented ships

I remember reading somewhere a dev saying t3 industrials was the only one being talked about at that time. with the industrial rebalance though who knows how useful that would be.

I highly doubt we will see another t3 class anytime soon and don't really think we need it.

T3 indys. I dont know why I am fascinated with a mobile factory that goes from t1 mods to t3 subs but to change what are you building you would need to swap subs in the new t3. First we would need to refit t3 in wspace, but you know what I mean.

Bob Artis, you will be missed.

Tech 3 Destroyers could be a fun addition. Currently, we use Interdictors, but creating more utility Destroyers with decent tanks, without getting out of hand would be a fun addition for wormholers. Not sure how many would capitalize on them, but again, it would be dependent on how we could utilize them. T3 Battleships would probably not provide as much fun, due to the mass, and T3 Battlecruisers would probably kill Command Ship viability, but T3 Destroyers wouldn't have a major affect on our current use of the T2 variant.

Now that I think about it, T3 Capital ships! They would be like, smaller then regular caps, with less power overall, but being able to reconfigure them for various activities \o/ I'd buy that.

Something like that, I dunno, it would be fun to see T3 caps, I love my archon, but i'd like to see a little flavor added to the landscape

This combined with modular t3 mobile industry plataforms for deep space operations (aka, t3 rorquals/somewhatapos) would be a great addon. A new wildland.

Edit: I mean, you have to have a reason to have a new t3.

T3 capitals.

Pimp.
For decades the great Empires have wondered how the Angel Cartel can operate with impunity from the depths of barren space. The reconfigurable Pimp class capital ships provide unparalleled flexibility, much like the exotic dancers which come standard in their cargo holds.

I'm surprised they went straight to cruiser hulls with t3.

I would have thought they would have started with frigates or 'experimental' craft like the zephyr, then work their way up hull sizes as the technology becomes more understood and available.

I think they should concentrate on re-balancing the t3 cruisers before they think about introducing anything else.

Look, lets just ditch the T3 ideas. Lets rid our verse of them because there's nothing worse than having a glorious ship relegated to uselessness which is what is going to happen with the T3 nerf according to current CCP descriptions. Instead, open up every sub-cap ship in the game to cov-ops cloak. Fck, all I really want to do is not fly a cloaky wet paper bag which is what we get with current cov-ops non-T3's. Otherwise, w-space.....not gonna be a fun place when you have to hide your DPS fleets 3 holes away a no cloaky tackle you could fly is going to last more than 15 seconds.

Don't ban me, bro!
