The focus of this overview is on official news from CCP: For example, dev blogs and important forum posts by CCP developers, the ever evolving background story and upcoming events. • Community Spotlight: Jonny Pew - Forum discussion
In this Community Spotlight CCP Eterne presents the video guide creator JonnyPew. JonnyPew brought and still brings guides and explanations of EVE's exploration mechanics to the masses for over a year and a half now with 135 video episodes currently released and many more to come. JonnyPew has put out an amazing amount of useful content to the whole EVE Community and anyone interested in getting into the exploration side of EVE Online. Devposts on the forum and news

• Real time battle information via CREST for the Alliance Tournament matches
CCP QC and CCP Veritas announced improved access to the real time battle data of Alliance Tournament XI matches. Via CREST it will be possible to receive information from the AT XI battlefield in real time including ship positions and velocities; with this data it is possible to create a battle recorder and live playback of AT XI matches.


• Clarification Regarding Steam Users And API Access
All subscribers to EVE can access the API. Also Steam users can access the API in the normal manner by logging in with their steam credentials the same way that they would access the Account Management page. Misleading information on the Steam EVE Online information page can be expected to be removed in the future.


• CCP Rise on HAC rebalance feedback
The feedback from CCP Rise' HAC rebalancing devblog was enormous and very constructive - thank you! Due to all the various points mentioned in the feedback, CCP Rise is going to run a new pass and review step on this balancing.


• AT XI - YouTube Replays
The replays of the first Alliance Tournament XI weekend with 64 matches were made available on YouTube by CCP Loxy, Video Producer and Director of EVE TV. Check out the AT XI - Day 1 and AT XI - Day 2 replays!


• CCP Paradox on high quality screenshots in EVE
The EVE client captures screenshots in high quality in the PNG format; CCP Paradox explains that it is also possible to save high quality screenshots when using Steam.


• EVElopedia development progress
Single-Sign-On for the EVElopedia, the developer and player driven EVE Wiki, is currently undergoing QA and final polish. All current edits and additions made to the current version will be carried over to the new version; nothing will get lost.


• Trading the Steam cards for ISK is prohibited
It is not allowed to trade Steam EVE Cards for ISK.

Impetus facility in Atlanins torched; 7 dead

An Impetus distribution center in Atlanins was target of an attack which left 7 people dead and more injured. The Bloody Hand of Matar, a fringe Minmatar terrorist group, claimed responsibility and justified the attack as act of revenge for the death of Karin Midular. Both the Minmatar Republic and Gallente Federation condemned the attack. The Black Eagles have pledged to bring justice to the attackers.

Nulli Secunda Continues Efforts to Recover Sovereignty Loss

After a devastating loss of sovereignty in more than 200 systems, Nulli Secunda, as part of the N3 coalition, rushed to recover most of the lost systems. The loss was caused by an alleged spy and left many capsuleers stranded in deep nullsec.

CEP, KK call for Heth's arrest

The Kaalakiota Corporation has been granted a warrant by the Caldari Business Tribunal for Tibus Heth's arrest on charges of malfeasance, misappropriation and embezzlement. The Chief Executive Panel has similarly announced that Heth is wanted for the murder of Admiral Visera Yanala, terrorism, and political extremism stemming from his takeover of the Caldari Constructions Warehouse in...
