So...what happens to EVE if/when TEST lose and the CFC claim all Fountain goldmines for themselves?

Nah, they weren't entirely wrong. If it hadn't been for the R64 shake up, the old Blue Donut would still have been fresh and on display in the baker's shop. Let's see how the dust settles and standings develop over the next couple of months.

HBC/CFC had reset long before the R64 shakeup.

I've heard the "TEST are goon pets" mantra enough times to wonder if this is all a show to see if other alliances will help TEST, and in do doing that, expend resources. Then, in a weakened state, TEST and goons make up and do a clean sweep.

Just a theory in the "I would not be surprised" file.

This is eve, and you find yourself fighting beside enemies more often then you would think, but I don't see Test and Goons becoming friends again for years. There's a lot of hate between the two groups.

Fountain is the final legacy of the bad old days of eve, that fortunately most people now playing were not playing in those old days. The wealth of fountain simply needs to be broken up and distributed about the universe.

So no more one gold mine, but a number of areas worth warring over.

I was IN TEST when the alliance with Goons crumbled. You are incorect, there never was any blue donut. We weren't blue to much of CFC, our guys were roaming them, they were roaming us. I lost a ratting ship to a CFC gang while everyone was screaming blue donut.

It was the same when BoB existed (and all the cries of "safe" null were bull). Same when the NC and the Russians controlled neighboring spheres of influence before the big war.

"Safe null" myths exist because outsiders want them to despite the evidence. The evidence is how much sov changes hands every year (its a lot, look at dotlan maps, null is completely different than it was even 2 years ago) and the average 1.7 MILLION ship deaths in null per year according to the "you guys sure like to kill" dev blog.

You can join N3, who has helped you so much.

N3 exist to kill the CFC, there's no turning back when you join their band of brothers to fight the evil goon menace.

But these highsec miners said it was definitely true that there was a blue donut ....and that it was safer in null, only they didn't want to join circlejerk coalitions...

No one alliance will ever hold all of nullsec. It is too big. Trying to hold the whole lot would be spreading resources too thin. They will probably just take it from Test and then offer it up to allies or renters.

Yeah, that old chestnut of not being all blue has been rolled out countless times before. Remind us all again about the various NIP & NAP agreements that were really at the core of the establishment of the former Blue Donut. Tell us more about Shadoo's Thunderdome idea, spawned to avoid sov conflict in null?

What will happen..

I would say that it will take about another month or 2 for thje CFC to completely take over all the space in fountain, set up new towers, install a buffer (meat shield) alliance etc.

Once this is done they will most likely then have some fun in HS to wind down, some R&R after the sov grind.

I would not then be surprised if Solar made a real move to retake the drone regions and co-incidentally the CFC will decide that would be a good time to put N3 to the sword.

My guess would be say in 6 months time CFC control all of the North and West of the Map and Solar will have retaken most if not all of the space they have lost.

As for people complaining about the CFC, it is not their fault, the blame is firmly at CCP door.

Everybody including the Goons have complained bitterly about Tech Moons for 2+ years now and CCP have done nothing.

I would give it a year before Tranq becomes a mirror image of the Chinese Server Serenity

apparently tech hasn't been nerfed yet
