I am sure you are proud. Are you proud that you were deployed to Iraq on false grounds too?

If you don't know why you were deployed then how do you know that it was for the benefit of your loved ones?

If you want a pat on the back, you're in the wrong place. I was there too, and I wish I hadn't been. Nor am I going around begging people to pat me on the head and thank me for going to a place they can't find on a map. Seeing as how you don't understand basic sentence structure, I'd say you probably went to the same school.

Take your flag-waving and yellow ribbons and shove them up your ass.

First of all you are occupant, and I don't find reason why you should proud about this.

To be, or not to be, that's the question.

You communicated your point poorly, and this is the EVE-O forums. What did you expect? Next time hit your caps lock key before you post something. Also, I did not watch the video, and yes, there is a price for freedom. Americans now pay that in taxes.

For the past 60 years we've been abusing our position as world leaders for profit. Mind you, I believe the military is a good and useful thing, and don't think soldiers should be held accountable for their actions (except for the fuckwads who get off on killing, but that's an effect of the absolutely terrible training our military puts people through. Seriously, have you seen our friendly fire rates?).

Anyways, communicate better and don't expect love from EVE-O. It sucks that people were sent to war for no reason, but don't come off and say "freedom has a price." Freedom is not what you were fighting for, it was corporate profits. Yes, that is wrong and reprehensible and not the soldiers faults, but don't guilt people into thinking that the Iraq and Afghanistan wars were some noble cause or something like that.

If you were to change freedom to corporate greed, you'd probably get a bit more sympathy.
