Alright, I love the tree asset export. I have a suggestion for it though, For each category section maybe have the column names repeat. And at the bottom of each category section have a total for appropriate columns(value, volume, etc.). And then at the very bottom a quick summery/total of each category.

example

Summery
Category---------Volume----------------ISK
Minerals--------400,000m3 -----500,000,000 ISK
Modules--------------493m3------------452,349 ISK

----------------------Volume----------------ISK
Total-------------400,493m3-------500,452,349

Would be really cool imo.

Tree tool is awesome. :D Its my new favorite feature of jeveassets.

*edit* silly forums didn't save my spacing. ><

@Tus
Please note: This is open for discussion AKA I'm not dismissing any of your suggestions...

1) Totals
It already show totals (or average for prices)
Ex.:
Blueprint (Shows total for all sub groups AKA Hybrid Charge Blueprint)
- Hybrid Charge Blueprint (Show total for all sub items AKA Antimatter Charge L Blueprint and Iron Charge L Blueprint)
- - Antimatter Charge L Blueprint (Show Its own values)
- - Iron Charge L Blueprint (Show Its own values))

The only exception is containers (Ships/Station Containers/etc.) in the location preset. They show their own value/volumn/etc.

2) Summary
Accepted :)

3) Bugs (report via evemail)
Will be fixed!

Thank you very much for your feedback! It really helps to get some new input doing the development process... :)

Ahhhh I see what it was, I had all the columns turned on, so I didn't see the totals for each group. :P I should of paid a bit more attention to that, my fault.

I think it would be good to repeat the column names though for each group if you're like me and have a rather large amount of assets causing a very very long list. ^^

Great to hear for summery, I'm a bit weird and like to see things like that. ><

Love this tool btw, I use it every day to filter and dump to work out SILO timers till empty/full, tower fuel status' and also for corporation asset tracking to work out the true value of our corporation assets. Thanks for the work that has gone into this.

One request though, is there any chance of pulling the moon the SILOs and other structures are anchored on? I notice other apps can do this but none of them give me the easy dump that jeveassets does. When I anchor and fit 10 towers for moon mining and reactions it's not too easy to work out which asset id goes with which tower without the planet/moon number.

Thanks

Sorry for the delayed reply - I have been away on vacation...

The reason jEveAssets has so poor support for POS is that I do not own any myself. So, it's impossible to test...
If you would be willing to give me an test API Key, I will happily do as you ask...

Feature Request (probably asked 100 million times):

For the love of all that is good and beautiful, is there some way to export a filtered list of items to Eve?! Case scenario: I create a filtered list of all meta 1 modules in a container with % Reprocessed greater than 100. It would be extremely helpful to save this list and import into Eve, so that I don't have to hunt and find each individual item in the container, switching back and forth between jEveAssets (even if kept "Always on Top" with some tool in Windows).

Eve offers filters now (which I never use). Could someone with clout (hint, hint, hint) request CCP to allow imported filters?

Another related capability, sort of in reverse, is how the site http://evepraisal.com/ works. No way to use this capability, I guess.

Or, am I just missing something???

Sorry for the delayed reply - My account have been disabled (due to some problems with re-activation)

AFAIK there is no way to import filters. I suggest you take it up with the CSM... Blink

Instead of have both jEveAssets and Eve open, you can export your filtered list to html and open it in the in-game browser.
1) Double click on the exported html file
2) Copy the URL from your browser
3) Launch Eve and open the in-game browser
4) Paste the URL into the in-game browser and press enter
...and you're done :)

Would it be possible to have the assets page also include bpo:s that are in research/copying/manufacturing ?

currently whenever we start manufacturing it seems to mark a bpo as a bpc with the flag corpsag2

1) The asset list should already include blueprints in use? if this is not the case, It's a bug.

2) If the blueprints in use are marked incorrectly it's also a bug.

I will look into it ASAP and post my findings here..

Thank you for your feedback :)

EDIT:
It's now confirmed that active Industry Jobs are incorrectly marking BPO as BPC in the asset list.
Thank you very much for spotting this bug!
I will release a new version ASAP.

Changing profiles often locks up the entire program. Any idea on how to get around this?

@KIATolon
Suggestion 1:
Make your profiles smaller AKA only one character/corporation per profile.

Suggestion 2:
Send a bug report

Suggestion 3:
Change profile manually:
1) Close jEveAssets
2) Go to the settings location
3) Open the "profiles" directory
4) Remove the leading # from the current profile
5) Add a leading # to the profile you want to load
6) Start jEveAssets

Using 2.6.1

So I drag my 200million of loot to Rens and add it to my 300million of existing loot.

I boot up jeveassets and ask for an update. It ONLY finds my 300 million of old loot. WTF?

Very irritating. Is there a "delay" of some sort? Should I have waited longer than the 30 minutes I did wait between moving the loot and asking for the update?

In any case, now i need to wait for another 7 hours or so before i can reupdate.

This is the second time this has happened to me.

My understanding is that when you query the api key it looks in real-time, hence the limitation on query frequency to reduce server load. Of course...it sure doesnt look like it queries in realtime.
