This was a nice bonus for upgrading from my trial account, but I didn't get much out of it. Like the noob that I am, I used the pod express without thinking first while moving my stuff from noob station to Arnon, and the CA went away along with the +1 imps from the tutorials. I didn't care about the imps, but the CA was nice. Since it has an absolute lifespan of only 30 days from the toon's date of birth, maybe it would be nice if we could reclaim it during that time if a character dies (or is just dumb enough to pod express without thinking first).

petition it. see what happens (I think the GMs might replace it for you).

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

I think your chances are very slim, as their official policy is to only reimburse if they can see it's the program's/server's fault, and letting you get this back would open the door to more petitions for reimbursement.

Petition it and you should get it back (cerebral accelerator is an exception to the normal rules afaik).

Petition it. Normally you won't get reimbursed, but I recall CCP treating the cerebral accelerator differently, since it is a one time newbie booster.

Hi Danny Husk

As a few players has already mentioned, there are special rules when it comes to the Cerebral Accelerator.

If you are podkilled within your first 30 days, with the booster plugged in, please create a petition in the reimbursement category

Thanks for the replies, all. I will try a petition and see what happens. I don't know if they treat noobish use of the pod express the same as an actual podkill, but maybe they'll be generous.

Yep, they'll give you a new one. I got podded a little bit ago, created a petition, and got a new one very quickly.

I'm a concerned about doing it too much, as I seem to **** off pirates a lot, though. :P
