Im glad there is a difference... I cant imagine sitting on a gate popping targets with battleships would hold my attention for too long Lol

I actually have had some amusing encounters with pirates.. in the spirit of the thread ill describe one...

My small frig group was capping a FW plex in black rise when a few pirates dropped in ontop of us. We all got away except for one ( thank you, D SCAN!). The guy who didnt get out was no match for what came next, but when they got him into hull, they stopped firing and said "Tell us a knock knock joke.." It still didnt end well.. but at least it was somewhat funny.

So... there are a few "classy" pirates out there lol...



Perception is 9/10 of the law in life and in Eve. If you are perceived as your average douche with no standards or ethics of combat it really diminishes your influence and perception others have of yourself or even your group.

Shadow Cartel has a very strict set of guidelines when it comes to things like 1v1's or ransoms. Essentially your word is held to itself. You ransom someone? Better honor it. 1v1 and losing? Better accept defeat in an honorable fashion than risk the reputation of the Alliance.

Take for example yesterday I lost a couple ships in 1v1. Nothing major but it was good sport and very close. I even spoke with both pilots on fitting (only to find out both times they were dual asb fit x..x) but regardless. Better to show maturity and restraint than childish attitudes.

After all bitter tears are the sweetest!

Im still not sure why people cry about getting blown up in lowsec.. its kinda like expecting no traffic on the interstate during rush hour.
