Im sorry but I dont read every blog CCP puts out but whats stopping them from increasing or adding time to some or all skills with every expansion. They may be doing this already see Boiling Frog.

At what point does the player base actually stand up and say enough is enough or would they even notice if done on a small scale over a long period of time.

Of course the majority of responses to this post is "CCP has always said if you could fly before the patch you will be able to fly it after." Well thats great and all but what about new players/alts who just started. All they are doing is increasing revenue in my opinion.

If anyone has any stats on the training times now compared to 10yrs ago I would love to see them.

This is purely speculative but what if the training time for all the skills was actually increased by say 40-50hrs over the 10yr lifespan of eve would you care? Would you care if the increments of time has been going up say 10% with every expansion?

Nothing. On the other hand, there's no reason why they should either, so it's not particularly likely to happen.

They're getting a much improved skill tree where most things are actually quicker to train for.

I don't think there were any battlecruisers or destroyers 10 years ago.

Now leave the horse alone. It's dead. Let it finish rotting.

Cause CCP benefits if it takes you longer train, right?

Someone needs to invent something like Captcha, except a system that can detect if you have your head up your ass before you can post.

Anyone?

Actually with a couple of exceptions, training is quicker now.

It used to be that you had to train the 6 learning skills up to level 5 in order to get to your full training speed without implants,
That alone would require several years to pay off the training time, so what did CCP do?

They removed the learning skills and applied the full bonus you would have got from training them to level 5 to every character so now you train faster.

That combined with the new arrangement of skills allows you in nearly all cases to get into a ship and be able to use it faster than before or at least in the same time.

The skill system offers constant progression if CCP were to add to much additional time to skills people would stop playing because we have goals and if we don't meet them people get bored and leave.

Sorry for my English.

CCP dont need to change everything to suit your play style.

Improvise, adapt and overcome!

OP,

You were dumb - just like your alt in the other thread.

No one cares that you were dumb, least of all those of us who were not dumb. Please stop being dumb on our time and refrain from making more poorly disguised whine/troll thread on this topic.

Failure to comply may result in sanctions, such as ridiculous trolling and mocking.

Thank you.
All the people who think know you're an idiot.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Those ebil barstewards also then allowed you to annually remap your attributes and gave bonus remaps to noobs making the training queue quicker. God they are heartless

Holy f*** I may have just supported CCP

Trust me, Q-ball, the only people who are going to reference this post will be those looking to put together some kind of "Worst Posts Ever" anthology.

Seriously, you're thick. Increasing training time has no effect on revenue. People need to keep paying to play no matter how long it takes them to train.

To the OP:
What, the current troll-fest about the BC & Dessy changes wasn't enough tinfoil-hattery for you? I judge this to be a poorly-disguised attempt to get past the 'no multiple threads' rule.
