It is his fault. We're playing a video game. If you play pac man and get bit by a ghost, it's because you zigged when you should have zagged. This is EVE, people are supposed to compete with you if they want to, regardless of whether you do or not.

It amazes me, some people can't even take responsibility in a video game. The guy should get better at the high sec game or go where people can't steal his stuff (or where he could shoot back).

I mean , you literally just highlighted the word responsibility as if it were a bad thing.

So you can't deal with the truth, and it's somehow my problem? And you would use power given to you for personal gain/comfort rather than for the good of the community? That sounds about right for you.

This is why I hate your type too. You never can understand that it's you and your emotional over-sensitivity and inability to use or understand logic that is the problem, not the people around you.

I tend to forget not everyone is from where I'm from and some have a hard time with blunt truth. This is how we talk at each other in Texas, such has "don't be an idiot, don't have a problem".


Try being a former masshole living in Georgia. I love it here so much more than the ultra left state I abandoned but it took some getting used to. Apparently you're supposed to take "Your so special" or "sweet" as an insult. I also talk a blue streak, which can present challenges. LOL

That said, Hotlanta is teh awesome.

It's generally better not to brag about how you'll abuse your powers BEFORE you get them.


Fact is, Lowsec is where you can get these sites going without a lot of hassle. I have an alt running data/relic sites in lowsec. Unlike many, I don't forget that the imicus can pack two flights of 4 drones. It's quite good at letting the intruding explorer know not to mess with my site.

I vacation in Savannah, it feels like home lol.

Being where I am I work with a lot of people from the North East and Canada (and everywhere else). They are great people and bring a lot to the table, but my God are they ever sensitive, especially the New Yorkers :) .

LOL I was raised southern by the grace of GOD. I would have pegged you for a yankee just because I dont like how you act and react and how poorly you conduct yourself. Easy to accept you that way I guess. That would be my prejudice though not yours.

I think of it as his since he entered the site. I know it goes to who gets it though. Same thing use to happen in eq2 a mmo i use to play. Would be harvesting a node and somone else would come up harvest on the same node, even though plenty other were spread around.

I guess my issue is in my opinion as well as outlined in the forum rules is the forums should be a place to get quick answers or solutions to questions or problems you may have. A person shouldn’t have to wade through 20 pages of flames and trolls from people with personal epeen or psychological issue to get that answer.

Those people need to be given forum vacations.

The OP came here looking for those answers not looking for flames and poor trolling. I saw one person provide viable feedback. This is sad. The forum warriors need to go play on the forums where you need to pay your ten bucks a month where the only people you subject your flames and trolling on are those that are looking for it. Not people that come here looking for help or answers.

I just have a problem with that premise in Eve. The games designers went to great lengths to ensure that there are no private dungeons (instances). The reason for this is to subvert the assumption that those rats are "yours" or the loot they drop is guaranteed to you if you shot the rat.

That way of understanding the game is wrong.

As for advice, assuming he stays in hi-sec, there are only two things to do:

  1. Concentrate on loot first, rat-cleaning second, as already advised in this thread.
  2. Run the sites with buddies and divide the loot, still adhering to #1.

The notion that the loot belongs to whoever starts the site is incorrect thinking for Eve's design.

Shame the OP is talking about high-sec sites. If it were low-sec, the priority would be (for me, at least):

1) Shoot the OP

2) Take the goods

3) Skip town so the Rats are the next chumps problem
