Hey guys
Ive been recently looking to get into incursions, and wanted to know what were some ships i should get, and what are some good communities i should join into to get started.
Im nowhere near an EVE noob. I have a couple bil sitting around, 2 accounts with ~40m sp, and can fly a vindi/mach or Basi/Guard. Im just wondering about communities and shield v armor.
Thanks for any help!

For specific fits and ships, you will have to refer to various communities mailing lists and MOTD in their chat channels to see what is accepted and what is not.

Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012.

Doesn't really matter what community you join, most of them are pretty much the same.

Fly with different communities to find most comfortable for you. I was surprised when I found out the least popular community is the most efficient ISK-wise because there are no multi-hour fleet queues.

If you fly armour ships I suggest checking out the chat channel "The Ditanian Fleet" and ask a few fit questions there Big smile
Why mostly do smaller Vanguard fleets & Assault with a rare HQ fleet & are fairly casual & accepting of newbies after a lil bit of friendly hazing Lol

Since the vindi and mach are both good for shield incursions I think shields are the answer.

Armor fleets are mostly legions from what I've seen.

Not true, almost the entire line of Amarr ships are ideally suited for armour Incursions, I believe DarthNefarius has been running armour fleets for almost 2 years now to good effect. But yes shield is more predominant due to both player type and convenience of Buffer at the end vs Buffer at the beginning.

And BTW the extremely thin shield buffer on a Vindi makes it fun to fly but quick to lose.

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.
