As the subject says... I find the lack of such an option quite counterproductive. I am not able to share my POS with people outside corp and alliance.

I see threads about this spanning many years.

Is there ANY chance this will be added to EVE at one point? Soon™?

I'd rather see POSes redesigned from the ground up than have a band-aid put on one of the many, many issues.

Sure, but having in mind the POS redesign, I reckon, would involve enormous effort and require LONG time, a band-aid might be a good choice. I'd rather be able to share my POS, in its current form, soon, than wait another year for the complete redesign.

I agree, I just got into POS's and i feel that is a huge flaw, I could be making money renting out hanger space to non members in WH space. 
No matter how much you scrub, how hot of water you use, you can't wash shame!
