Player Features and Ideas Discussion

Now this idea has been implemented with EQ and EQ 2 as well as other MMOs but I think it would be cool if packs of EVE card games came with online codes or beable to buy packs ( not boosters necessarily) and play cards while your in your station when your bored I know this wouldnt work in jumps but I was perhaps thinking that those who opt in for this could have a timer before its declined and the systems searches for someone else.. Now the idea is fresh to me and has alot of holes i admit but I was considering something for us to do when we dont want to PVP or go exploring and just want to sit in our rooms .. Xenosaga had this system within the dynamics of the game itself and it was quite entertaining for me... Id like to suggest perhaps CCP look into a minigame avenue to give players an option to sit in their stations and skill up while doing something constructive it would add more value to the game I think personally and would allow players who are new to not be afraid to skill up and wait the months it takes to skill up... I dont know as i said it has alot of holes in its theory and foundation .. However id like to hear if people would want such a system implemented if CCP truly thought of it and put it into an expansion.. or perhaps some form of gambling for the ISK for those who want to take a risk... Again its all just words right now and something i think would benefit this game even further.

yea the general idea... However I think that it would be successful given it would give players more to do. I am not trying to make EVE into a moneypit by anymeans but a way that us pilots could relax with a nice game with others would make it that much more of an experience. I am trying to think of ways we can keep ourselves from going insane during the time we wait to skill up, I mean in alot of ways people unsubscribe after months of mission running with very little to no improvements or they go to other mainstreamed MMOs in hopes of settling such concepts. I know that I personally play the Pokemon TCG when I am bored while waiting for my skills to level up .. Sure saying this could cause me to get slammed because I play a "kid's" card game and well though EVE doesnt have such a dynamic yet I enjoy TCGs alot and well sure having to spend 11.56 for a pack to play it digitally is nice but doesnt mean that EVE couldnt try and market a TCG online to embed into New Eden or make stations where you can play such things. I am sure traders would love to have one in Jita, so while they are waiting for the opportunity to sell they can relax with it... My statments before really had holes, and it still does but I am really hoping that something does become of this because well TCGs are good time wasters... Tetra master for FFXI anyone?!? I mean id love pay an extra 2-5 bucks a month just to play a TCG and buy the decks with our own ISK... As i said this is only a suggestion.. id love to hear what others think

It be a little odd lore wise, but woudlnt mind it considering there hasnt been much work on it since it came out.

Dumb, just turn of eve, call a friend and play a game of cards with him.

I think the devs could spend their time and energy on more important things.

By the way, eve is just a game....and not real life.... so top simulating that it is real life......
