wanting to get into FW

Hi Guys

I am looking to get into faction warfare for the first time. I have done most things in eve but not this. Any pointers on where to get started and any faction i should be looking at fighting for more than the others? Also is there any particular Corps or Alliances that stand out from the crowd as being THE place to be for FW?

It really depends on what your goals are. If you just wanna solo plex for LP (isk) there is no need to join a corp. If you want to be an active combatant and do all that FW offers I would suggest either Gallente or Caldari at this point (black rise is pretty busy atm).

Check out Purging Maelstrom PURGM. From what I know they do a good job integrating people that are new to FW and they seem pretty active.

Also take a look at Mercs of Vengeance, we provide some of the best FW pvp training in Cal Mil. Oh and we have some amazing FC's that generate kills out of thin air.

Check out CCDM in CalMil as well. Going on a huge recruiting surge so plenty of new pilots to shoot the **** with.

You mean you want to farm LP, not make FW more interesting with PVP, so you are looking for a farming corp/alliance that will print you ISK in a faction that has the current highest Tier rating - bugger the faction, the roleplaying, or the spirit of the game? Sure join CalMil.

http://evewho.com/faction/ should give you a good idea on who the most active pvp and pve corps are (FW kills and FW LP).

Is it possible to do fw without hurting ur faction standings? What can u do that doesnt hurt standings and what does hurt standings?

Create market alt.
There, now you don't have to care about your standings.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.
