Remove the Aurum

What about removing the aurum?
I thought the Jita Riot was about that, why ruining the game with micro-transactions?
Isn't it better to have blueprints and expand the game?

This game is about doing what you want, decide your own objectives, be whoever you like to be, and personalization should be part of it, without having invasive, immersion-breaking micro-transactions to influence the game. Gold ammo is not that different, it's less acceptable just because it's more evident.

Next step could be the introduction of Ships Paint Jobs for micro-transactions.
A universe where clothing and paintjob are expensive as a 10km long space ship, is that what we want?

I agree. Everything should be part of the player driven economy and NEX store should me removed. Only problem is that NEX store items are indestructible, this should be changed too.

This game is not about being powerful, is about do whatever you want to.

Character customization could be an important part of someone gameplay like PvP is for someone else, and Nex Store ruins his game as much as Gold Ammo would ruin a PvPer game, it's quite simple.

Nope. That was about the lack of real Content or Little Fixes for the previous few Expansions, having added only PI and Incursions during the previous 2.

Not really. Since we have a player driven market anything that can be bought with aurum can be bought with isk eventually. Also gold ammo directly affects performance in the game, not so with clothes.

Seriously. Folks complaining about something that absolutely affects gameplay not at all. They need lives....or something.

So, since we have a player driven market why not introducing gold ammo, that can be then sold for isk by who bought it?
Remeber that clothing is fluff as much as internet spaceships are. Gold Ammo directly affect Your game, micro-transactions shouldn't affect anyone game.

Aurum should be removed because it's holding back Eve's evolution into a comprehensive sci fi experience. Let me explain...

Walking in stations was an excellent idea until Aurum for clothes came along and ruined it.

Walking in stations used to be about flying your ship to an abandoned space station, getting out of your ship, and exploring the abandoned space station for loot while perhaps fighting drones.

Aurum changed this purpose of WiS to poncing about in your captain's quarters so that CCP could make a bit of easy money.

You are wrong. Aurum does affect gameplay because devs are using their time to make Aurum items when they could be making Eve into a better game instead.

Yeh the Aurum items are almost exclusivly the art department, i dont think it takes too much time away from other projects if at all.

There is a reason why I mentioned the market and gold ammo in two completely unrelated sentences.

I'll break it down for you:

Clothes, do not affect gameplay.

Higher yield ammo does.

Also, what the **** does this even mean?

So you think God's Coldbloods Vindicator is equal to a pair of pants?

All the items they're releasing were made in 2011, because of the Nex Store we're having less items and for real money.

Indeed, that's why our profile pictures look awesome as hell. And not like WoW's.

The department making clothes for Aurum means that there can never be a department to make WiS.

This is because the 'clothes for Aurum department' appeals to the minority of rich players, while alienating everybody else. While this happens, WiS cannot proceed because what he have here is a severe image problem.

Well, since you promote aurum is legit to say that you think a God's Coldbloods Vindicator are expensive as a pair of pants in the market. See what I did there?

Is not the same, not even close.

Even the same identical item sold on NEX store and on the player driven system:

The item from player driven economy:
Someone have to be gather reources, reprocess, obtaining blueprint, use the industr to build it, hauling it on a market hub... and so on. And having the proper skills trained to do this. Is a player driven process, requires and create gameplay.

Same item from NEX store:
Bypass everything and is created on the market. From nowhere. No gameplay related to it.
