you mean like factories on asteroids? IIRC, occasionally one may drop a canister. I could be wrong though.

It usually costs more in ammo to take out the structures than what they drop, they do occasionally drop stuff, refer to notes on eve-survival

Some "buildings" do indeed drop items, others don't as it has been stated above refer to eve survival.
If you are running DED sites also, some buildings such as the "rotating telescope" may drop rather fruitful loot (200mill isk modules), where as others may trigger and escalation. Its definitely worth reading up on things before you do them Big smile

It's human nature to want to explore. To find your line and go beyond it. The only limit, is the one you set yourself.

If i remember rightly, it's a long time since I have done missions and DED sites, but structures are scannable with a cargo scanner, so you can see if they hold anything

There are one or two missions i can think of where blowing up a building is worthwhile. Most of the time it isnt. There is one level 3 mission (there could be a level 4 variation but i havent seen it before if there is) called "lights out" or something along those lines where if you blow up the hq structure it drops an overseers tag and some other junk. The tag sells for a reasonable amount of isk given the difficulty of the mission. Its worth getting if you do that mission. I think you gotta blow up like 3 gallente cruisers or something then pop the station as a slight bonus.

As long as you have drones or lasers, there is no reason not to try blowing up everything, just to see what happens :D

I did a lvl 3 mission a couple of days ago - unfortunately I can't remember the missions name but EVE survival said a pleasure hub drops a bit of loot, blew it up and it dropped a 10mil ISK skillbook and other stuff to about 12 mil total. It is well worth checking EVE Survival and hitting the structures it suggests, they don't always drop loot but I have found that they do more often than not. Use drones and you don't waste ammo.

The power to cause pain is the only power that matters, the power to kill and destroy, because if you can't kill then you are always subject to those who can, and nothing and no one will ever save you.
