Things are simple : If a CSM does this to a CCP customer, than I have several questions :

What is CSM?
What is CSM doing for me ?
What is CCP doing to keep me paying for this game? Laugh at me? Is it true? So I pay CCP to laugh at me?
I don't feel like laughing right now. But I can stop paying for my 8 accounts. That's all I can do.

You pay CCP for access to the server. If during your time on the server, you make them laugh, then that's just a bonus.

Just because you're a CCP customer doesn't mean you are safe from scams — quite the opposite in fact. If you are a CCP customer, then you are pretty much by definition open to scamming. It comes with the territory.

Dear good sir of our space friend network of utmost understanding and reverence for e-honor. The CSM acts as a buffer zone for communications between CCP and the players and nothing more.

The mittani is not a white knight of the players, he is a diplomat. Diplomats KILL real people in the countries they are supposed to be representing and get away with it. Just sit on that for a bit, CCP is not beholden to making the situation any better. He's just another player and you got played.

The advantage of a bad memory is that one can enjoy the same good things for the first time several times.

One will rarely err if extreme actions be ascribed to vanity, ordinary actions to habit, and mean actions to fear.

The mistake was your own and you screwed up no one else.

You could have Checked to see if Mittani was legit or used a broker that is well trusted. You did not. You and anyone who plays this game should and probably do know that scamming is in fact allowed. You could have checked to see if the CSM's are allowed to scam you or not, there is a wealth of information on the subject. But you did not, you just assumed and even though you just asked what are the CSM's you trusted them.

You pay CCP for access to the Server and that is it. If you do not like the rules of the game(the ones you did not bother to learn) then you can quit. Really it is your loss, EVE is a great game if you know how to play it.

Edit: One more thing, bolded something. You don't get to complain when you entered into an agreement with someone when you don't even know what they do. Especially when that information is readily available.

1. What is CSM?

CSM is the advance player feedback tool, made up from people in the community, elected by said communtiy, designed to oversee new features and changes that CCP does and give feedback on them

Skillqueues, Fuel Pellets, Supercap changes, new BCs (not quite sure if the CSM explicitly requested that), Hybrid Buff, T2 ammo buff, the radical change in direction from the release of incarna (emegency summit). a lot of stuff actually.

3. What is CCP doing to keep me paying for this game?

They continue to provide the same consistent in-game experience that it always has. If you suddenly got refunded because you got "scammed" what is their reasoning when other people ask for isk back when they get scammed. I remember back in the NC, there was a guy who scammed an idiot in Jita out of an ingame plex. He sold it for 32 Billion, rather than 320 Million.

CCP is allowing you the possiblity to continue doing scams. As long as you do not say that you are a member of CCP (which the mittani did not), a GM (which the mittani did not), or hack the game client (from what i can tell, he did not), this scam was 100% legal and you can do the exact same thing.

My advice, Wait for CHRIBBA to be online before trying to trade a super.

Why?

There are more players in High Sec then Null sec but the Null sec players get elected. If people in High sec got involved and sided with candidates that represented there needs no Null sec candidates would be elected. If people want change they can have it but they choose not too.

The Systems not broken, the people are stupid.

The CSM's as a representation of the entire Player Base however is broken.
