Any change that this collectors edition will become available through Plex?

10 Plex equals to around 150 euro's right? I would rat and mine day and night to have enough in time to buy it than.

I dont know if this is important or not, but i have chickens.....

Thanks for the reply. I am as much a visual person as you are I guess, so you'll have to send pix. P Btw, I said this in another post. Make the game code redeemable for plex, that'll make me cave in I guess.

Thanks for that picture, any lingering doubts I had about whether I had made the right decision in buying the box set, are now totally gone. I almost need to buy a second one so I can play dogfights with them.

Please please please release some other ship models soon! All preferably to scale so I can fill my loungeroom with a battleship.

The power to cause pain is the only power that matters, the power to kill and destroy, because if you can't kill then you are always subject to those who can, and nothing and no one will ever save you.

I wish CCP would just sell this game to a proper developer. They clearly want to make a different type of game. Why does a development team responsible for maintaining a space MMO consistently devote their resources to churning out cr-ap like shirts and tattoos for avatars that have no functionality in the game? Clearly Dust 514 is the way they have been wanting to go for years, where console gamers who love to scoop this cr-ap up can print money for them. CCP can have Dust for all I care, but they should part with EVE for a proper developer who can fix the issues with the bloody game and make it relevant again.

No - what happened is that a few years ago, CCP intended to create "walking in stations". Unfortunately, the first release - captain's quarters - was released along with the clothing that you had to buy with real money.

"Walking in stations" was actually an excellent and very popular idea. Unfortunately, CCP released it with $80 monocles etc. This forever tarnished the image of "walking in stations" in the minds of Eve players.

What happened next was huge unrest and anger among the Eve players. Many prominent players quit and there were demonstrations on the forums and outside Jita 4-4.

This culminated in the sacking of quite a lot of Eve devs and a change in direction for Eve - back to spaceship fighting.

Therefore, those Collector's Edition tattoos and clothes may have been on CCP's computers for years.

Hopefully, CCP will return to walking in stations one day soon - and finally scrap the Aurum in Eve altogether.

Yes, I would love to see some updates to walking in stations.

They should work on making it so you can share the CQ with friends for the time being, maybe play some poker for isk or pull up youtube videos on the monitor.

At Fanfest 2012, the devs said that one idea was for us to "park" our ships outside deserted space stations (for example), get out of our ships, and explore the deserted space stations ("walking in stations") to find stuff and battle with drones.

So it depends on how it's done. Obviously, $80 monicles should not be how it's done! But this is how a lot of people - including yourself - now think of walking in stations because of the Aurum fiasco, which is a real pity.

I would consider buying it if it didn't come with all that DUST junk I would never use. If they added one with just Eve stuff, at a cheaper price, then I would get it. But right now, nah.

Still don't know..

Can we sell the DUST stuff for ISK?

It would honestly go to waste if I kept it.

I decided to buy the CE mostly for the physical items. the golden pod / tatoo are a nice perk tho.

I would also love to sell the DUST stuff / pre-order code for ISK as I do not have a ps3 and there are way better shooters out there (on top of the next gen consoles coming out fairly soon).

as far as Incarna/WIS, it would be nice to see them ditch aurum and introduce common station areas, derelic stations to explore, and give us the ability to skin our ships (heck, Id be super satisfied with existing skins as for not to cause performance issues with custom hello kitty skins everywhere; at least it'll help me remove the stupid space camo on some of my ships...)

Different ship paintjobs should be made by industrials. Not picked by the pilot like some kind of need for speed game.

For the sake of immersion.

I totally agree and its what I meant by get rid of aurum. I don't want EVE to turn into some kind of 2nd rate micro-transaction filled cheap ass MMO.

Make the 'paintjobs' super cheap and manufactured by players (else there wouldnt be any point paying for fluff on pvp boats). Personally, Id like to see PI being developed a bit more as well, and having Paint factories sound like it would work very well with that concept.

I would actually prefer them to start using aurum for something, rather than use plex as the de facto currency. microtransactions > macrotransactions.

However, I notice CCP Falcon has not answered my question.. I didn't expect him to anyway.. I have my own ideas about what the code will offer, and if I am even half right, I am happy to have paid the price. I don't really care about the rest of the eve related stuff, might consider reselling.
