The Start of Incursion World War II

Having survived the great incursion nerf, new and existing FC’s emerged from the stagnant dust that was incursions prior to the post-nerf incursion buff and began collecting their followers. In this emergence, a FC began accepting multi-box setups which was a practice ridiculed by the other communities. It wasn’t long before this FC had an established community of multi-boxers and became known as DIN, aka The Angry Germans. As a statement to show their power, they aligned with additional multi-boxers and took down a Mom site early. This caught the attention of the other incursion communities such as TVP, which led to an amendment to the incursion agreement recognizing DIN as a community that could officially invade and take Mom sites per an agreed rotational arrangement. While most communities agreed to this, there were some communities such as ISN that had taken the passive approach and did not partake in the agreement. For those not familiar with the past incursion history, ISN had staged a revolt to seclude itself from the TVP monarchy led by Daisy Cutter. TVP was appalled by the inaction of ISN to partake in the agreement, especially considering most ISN members had at one time flown with TVP. While ISN had no official agreement with the other communities, peace was still manageable with minor conflicts here and there in a grab for resources. Unfortunately this peace was short lived as DIN was not happy with the current state of affairs. DIN broke the peace agreement and began invading the Mom sites, which was of great concern to the other communities as it denied their rights to farm freely in space. DIN stated they would continue to do this until they were left alone. Many communities feel this latest action by DIN is completely self-serving, has no consideration to other time zones, and most importantly is an act of war that will mark the beginning of IWW II.

Now the question remains, how will communities react? Is this the start of IWW II? Will they form an allied force from all the world’s time zones to combat this this soon to be incursion axis power of multi-boxers? Will this be the beginning of a holocaust to eradicate solo-boxers in an effort to replace them with so called "superior" multi-boxers to blob sites? Will the sleeping giants be awakened from their slumber to harvest tears at a scale never dreamed possible ?

Confirming this "war" will be fought on the forums because one may not under any circumstance stop the in game PVE grind.

It's been a long, long time since I incursioned ... but what is the problem here?

When a mom-site gets taken down is that not the trigger for another incursion to soon spawn somewhere else? Doesn't this mean more incursions for all, or is the need to move to the next incursaion-afflcted region the problem?

In principle, whatever the game dynamics implications, I see no problem with any group that is able to do so going in and popping the mom-site. But then I guess my income is not incursion linked.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Ooops, sorry I wasn't trolling or being sarcastic. I was trying to work out whether that was the actual perceived problem.

And, yes, eve has been dying ever since I joined. Still, if I do my exercises each morning I seen to be able to keep the rigor mortis at bay.

As a german incursion player I feel offended by your post.

Btw, I don't fly with DIN, or any of the big shield channels for that matter.

I don't think the "respawn" if its actually connected to despawn, is particularly fast, so its possible to have anywhere between 3 and 0 highsec incursions.

I can't see this as a problem, prisoners dilemma is a fine thing to see play out in a gaming environment, and since this is the purvey of shiny-ship pilots who have sufficient skills and resources to do other content, meh.

I can't have much sympathy when what I do instead of incursioning (run ded5s in low) often sees me laid up for half an hour cloaked waiting for a gang that would happily kill my plexboat to go away.

The respawn time is 36 to 40 hours.

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

My ADD kicked in some where in the middle of this. I just got back from looking at something shinny on the wall. I would need to start over but them another shinny something or other will come along.

Because nothing is forgotten. Two successive world wars were held with Germany being a main character and aggressor. And these events were not so long time ago. Only a century ago. From the point of view of whole humankind history it was like yesterday.

In the same time I like another example of hatred taking a place in Europe. Even nowadays France hate English with all it's heart because of Hundred years war. But these events took place much deeper in the past than 2 World Wars of the XX century. And the consequences still are not going to fade away.

The thing is about incursion wars is:

They always happen in high sec

So the person who feels like popping the MOM has complete and utter control and anyone else cannot do anything about it unless they decide to suicide gank the whole fleet.

Paragraphs - please, use them. Now text is unreadable and somehow I guess it's not worth to read it despite interesting theme.
