How fast will tidi work?

And what is the fastest that it can go? And will the overtime be five minutes or fifteen minutes?

Judging by what CCP Dolan said. 1 second will be equal to 7 seconds when they put the Reverse TIDI on.

It goes faster with each minute, top speed it reaches is 7.5x.

Yes, the top speed is 7.5x normal time, so one second will be 7.5 seconds with the speed of time increasing every minute. This means that for the 5 minutes that the overtime runs the teams will experience 15 minutes of fighting would it have been fought in real time.

Funny side note on this:

last i checked, tidi does not affect the Tau constant of the formulas governing cap and shield recharge, meaning those always run in -real- time. This means that accelerated time royally screws over your cap management, since modules will cycle much faster, but your cap recharge has not changed. ((probably out of date information))

(tl;dr: you do not want to go to tiebreaker) ((this remains true though ;-)))

Cap and shield recharge work on the simulation clock and remain consistent in game-time.

If you have evidence to the contrary I'd love to hear it 'cause that'd be a bug.

Heh, I will admit last time I checked is a while ago, so I may just be out of date here. Unfortunately I'm not usually anywhere near a Tidi'ed system or I'd check again.
