Terrible broadcast, fire your streaming provider

Consider that your ISP may be throttling streaming traffic. I use a VPN and have never had any issues with Twitch streaming, ATX or otherwise.

Definitely not an ISP problem in my case.

Are other twitch streams just as bad? I was having problems then reset my router and its smooth as silk on the highest quality.

today is actually worse and it really dumped during the PL match.

now the popout just dies usually during an add transition and I have to reload the page to get a new popout

still stuttering at 480, or lower.

Yea, this is pretty bad. 480 is close to unwatchable it''s stuttering really badly either in the pop out or not and with chat turned off. Yesterday It was fine at 720 (1080 was iffy) and I know it's not my connection or provider since the jita cam streams perfectly fine at 1080. It's only when Twitch is getting heavy loads during the match that it all goes to hell.

Yes, it lags like crazy even with popout. Last year I watched reliably at 480p... now I can mostly not watch at 320p and even 240p lags to hell. Useless... useless... and to think I was looking forward to AT :(

+1
CCP go poke twitch or something, currently the quality of AT stream is somewhere between "$hit" and "total $hit".

Mines streaming again fine for the moment. Don't think CCP restarting their end will help, twitch needs to make some tweaks to their setup if possible (seems like not enough data is buffered sometimes) and/or provide more servers I think.

Ya, stream is unwatchable from the US, was having some issues yesterday but today it's even worse. As much fun as it is to watch the tournament slideshow, I'm done for today. Hope twitch gets its **** together by next week.

Yep, something that should have been enjoyable, has been made totally frustrating, just because Twitch can't actually provide a competent service. I'm sure they had an idea of the numbers that would be watching, so no excuses.

weren't they using twitch last year too? also, how many are watching it this year? I haven't been able to watch any of the streams, so I never see.

also, the VOD is terrible. I let it try and buffer for about 2 hours and it got about 1-2 minutes buffered then started stuttering again. I think they do the same thing as youtube where it will buffer a tiny bit then stop so you "don't waste bandwidth".

Lot's of stuttering in PC and it's not a bad PC (only tried in Chrome tbh, maybe better with other browsers).
Perfect view in Twitch android app (nexus 7), lot's of EvE this weekend with the tablet right next to pc monitor streaming the tournament. If you have an android tablet, give it a shot.

I was so looking forward to watching this years tournament. Kept me going during a some heavy travelling last year - great crew, commentary, setup, video feed etc.

This year?

CCP - this is how you lose potential subscribers and new customers. The feed is atrocius, Twitch is stuttering on a 100 line on a high end computer.

To add insult to injury - youtube gave us the opportunity to select which match to watch. Now I have to sit and Fast Forward or click to the right spot (am I missing something?).... c'mon. FF two minutes too much - oops - saw the result. At least upload the freaking matches to youtube.

You blew it, big time.

its not CCP's fault its due to high usage from the league of legends streams as lcs or some tourny was on with like 80k viewers or something ridiculous causing the most of the bandwidth being used by that, with that noted i did lag a bit here and there on 720 but was fine on 1080+ mode give that a try.

Twitch is the only real game streaming provider now as own3d has shutdown youtube is the only other option.
