When does station atmosphere decontaminate?

Signed up not too long ago and I'm loving this game so far. Just one question though - I've been walking around the station exploring what I can do, and I found this door that says something about station atmosphere needing decontamination for capsuleers. How long do I have to wait? Do I have to do anything to decontaminate it (i.e a quest or somethng)?

When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then the door will open, not before.

I like how none managed to actually answer the question and explain why...

A little backstory: Back in 2010-2011, a lot of players were discontent with what they felt was CCP mismanagement of the core game. They were working on an EVE character expansion (The character generator and the Captains Quarters are the result), as well as two other games (DUST and [classic] World of Darkness Online).
In the spring/summer of 2011, this erupted when CCP released Incarna, an expansion that at start only had the Minmatar CQ, and the NeX (Which coincided with a release of an internal newspaper "Fearless", in which CCP employees had represented different cases for microtransactions - for example "gold ammo" and bought space-ships), and a response from CCP employees that was clearly unsatisfactory to a large number of EVE players.
During the summer of 2011, it became clear that CCP had overstretched to a breaking point (Borrowed a lot of money to produce 2 games on the income of 1 that still required attention). They also had problems with a lot of senior players leaving because of the discontent, so even their current game had worsening finances. They laid off a large number of employees, cut back on the WoDO development, and vowed to return to the core spaceship game.
The probably best known names are the Jita Riots (A few thousand players convened in Jita and shot the statue there) or the Summer of Rage.

CCP had released the 3 other racial CQ's at that time, but acknowledged that they did not have a plan for ambulation / walking in station (WIS) / Incarna, so it was shelved for the time being. A team was put together to work on prototyping actual avatar gameplay.
In the meantime, the rest of the EVE teams put together Crucible, which was defined by an entire metric awesome of small fixes, "a thousand papercuts", improvements, and a clear break (At least for a while) from the detached CCP that asked players to buy internet monocles for hundred dollars because real life pants were expensive.
We have heard some things about avatar gameplay since then, from the prototype team, but nothing more.

Meanwhile, Incarna / WIS has become the redhead stepchild of EVE, and from my perspective CCP has become fearful of touching it without a clear plan, several backups, redundancies and an escape plan.
Which is why I can't see the station being decontaminated for a year, maybe more.

The problem wasn't so much walking in stations that caused all the rage.

My guess is he's counting the ramp to the balcony and the balcony itself as part of the station, not part of the quarters.

If you want that door open, post a suggestion for it in the "crowdsourcing" thread :

I had thought that because of the recent new clothing seen on Sing, and the tattoos being released that perhaps some effort is being put into Walking in Stations. You never know perhaps we might see a few more little treasures in the next expansion. Would be nice.

That said, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I can only think of this as good thing. I can't say that WiS is a bad direction, but I do suspect it could become a dangerous distraction from the core game. Dangerous distractions should be approached like they might be rabid weasels.
