You're a traitor and a supporter of terrorists, Diana Kim.

You agressed a member of the State Protectorate and engaged another when she intervened in your illegal assault. The relevant documentation is there for everyone to see, proving that the State Protectorate itself turned their guns on you to help end the threat.

You won't be aggressed in response - Pyre Falcon actually obeys the regulations and standing orders regarding conduct in the warzone, but I can promise you that we will be ready for any further agression from you and, should you engage, you will be answered in kind.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

But eh, what could you expect from such lying incoherent coward like Gesakaarin? She were always displaying her hostility, and now this. Very well. As for me, I serve the State and I will destroy all enemies of the State.
Including you, Gesakaarin.
And traitors like Desiderya.

Glory to the State!
D. Kim, Wing Cmdr.

This from the State Protectorate pilot whose own State Protectorate station flayed her ship with its defense sentries. Fire Control didn't like you shooting at your fellow Caldari too much, I guess.

Essentially, yes. I suppose making effective choices in life with a degree of intelligence never was the forte of the Provists.

That's quite an efficiency rating. Why it's... um... graduate student! Graduate student to the bridge!

Don't worry, sweetie, we can go back to the ADS Horizon thingy in a moment... yes, I know it's just a ratio... no, I know it isn't a derivative. There isn't a "d" there... ok, there is a "d" there but I wrote it down for "destroyed" not "change in."

Just tell me! Is it the value of the destroyed over the value of the not destroyed; or, the value of the destroyed plus the not destroyed over the not destroyed... No, there's no H. I don't want the Hamiltonian you silly little Achuran twink! I just want...!

Hmmm... is market valuation a solution to chaos?

Well, anyway, I'm sure it was very efficient, Veikitamo darling!

Yes, yes, we can go back to the ADS Horizon, now. We need a tenth dimension. Can't we just say there is a tenth dimension? Don't math twinks do that all the time? No, change that, I think we need to romp a bit in the woods with the lycanthropes.

This comes as no surprise to me at all. None. At the least, the pretense has been set aside and she shows her true colors...

An enemy of the State. A Provist supporter. And a terrorist.

Clarity is a precious thing, for it is quite clear now what is to be done.

DUTY once again displays their combat prowess when faced with ships heavier or more technologically advanced than their own. Well flown, Pyre Falcon pilots. I'm sure your superiors are pleased with your ability to simultaneously obey the law and root out AWOXers.

I have seen you claim otherwise in the past Kim.
And attacking State protectorate forces... well, that can hardly be called 'serving the state'.
You, through your own actions, have proven yourself a traitor to the state you falsely claim to serve.

Remind me what the Caldari do to traitors.
Remind me of your OWN WORDS regarding what you would do to yourself, or even your (currently and likely permanently) unborn children, should you, or they, betray the state.

then prove your hypocrisy once again by shirking that responsibility behind a transparent facade of hatred and self delusion.

Not indicative of corporate policy unless otherwise stated.

Come on, people, give her time! She'll surely see the error of her ways any day now.

Despite her dissident political views, her unsupportable calls for the genocide of the Gallente peoples and her obvious mental instability, the one thing that redeemed the honour of Diana Kim was her steadfast support of the State and her sterling work in the State Protectorate.

So moved by her apparent sense of duty was I, that I even tried to help her transition in this difficult time for her, at personal risk.

She repays my care and effort by breaking her oath as a member of the State Protectorate and attacking not only my Chairwoman, but also my Wife. Not once but multiple times. When I discussed this with her later on, her justification appears to be that mean things were said about her in a public discussion channel.

Madness.

For too long Diana Kim has been tolerated as an eccentric but basically decent State citizen. I call on all State Loyalists to now treat her as what she clearly is, a Provist Traitor driven insane by the fall of her twisted idol.

If I had a wife, i'd probably be steamed that someonewhom I thought of as at least an, albeit distant, ally tried to blow her out of the sky, as well...

Well, I thought it best to declare my obvious bias in these proceedings - nonetheless I hope the situation stands on it's own merits.

Your words might have some bearing and consequence if you did not now have the reputation of being a terrorist and dissident. Your affectations of being a soldier serving the State are now nothing more than empty words for there is no difference between you and those criminals, pirates and profiteers who hide behind the skirts of CONCORD and the CEWPA Laws of every Militia.

You are no soldier. You are a thug just like any other Provist. Just like them, you sought to use violence and intimidation against those that disagreed with your savage ignorance. Just like them you have been shamed and humiliated in public as nothing more than an incompetent coward. Did you really think you could intimidate a true citizen of the State such as myself just as Tibus Heth and the Provists sought to intimidate the citizens of Kaalakiota and the State? You cannot silence the virtues of honour and dignity. The failure of Tibus Heth, the Provists, the Templis Dragonaurs and now yourself to understand what honour and dignity mean is why you have become the abject failures to turn ones back upon as every measure of pity, scorn, derision and disgust is provided to you as your only succour in the loneliness of the snows.

It's no less than Kim deserves, so long as she continues to walk her selfish path.

That being said, I personally believe in redemption and rebirth. It will be a long and difficult journey for her should she choose to take it, and she will be a very different person if she should succeed. Most who try, fail.

But we should leave that door open anyway. Meritocracy and honour demand that we offer an opportunity, however small, difficult and unlikely, for those we once called our kirjuunen to return to the family.

I will not weep, nor will I be terribly surprised, if Kim should fail to take that opportunity, however.

From what I have seen and heard, she has been given multiple chances at reform and redemption and has thus far, in all cases, outright refused or turned away from each chance given.

Despite having been the target of her vitriol in both the Summit and on the IGS, I had held out hope that she might see reason through the haze of her idol-worship, but as time has marched on, Kim has remained stagnant.

A part of me still holds out for redemption, but for that to happen she needs to start owning up to her actions and statements instead of trying to hide behind a thin veil of pretending to be ignorance. She has unfortunately been coddled and spoiled and any hope of change needs to start with how she is treated in turn. If she cannot accept responsibility for her mistakes or admit that she willfully lies to suit her own purposes, there is not much hope for her to reform.

I've flown with Diana a few times. She's shown to be a capable pilot in her own right. A bit....eccentric, sure, but perfectly capable. Then, I see this. While it doesn't shock me it.....disappoints me. I thought she was rather intelligent enough to know that "The good of the whole over the good of the individual" would apply here. Heth is an individual. Diana is an individual. The Caldari is a whole. Even if you disagree with them you should help them on their way. They will die on their own eventually.

But, I guess Diana snapped clean in two. I should just tell my CEO to set her red, but seeing how I don't currently live in Caldari space right now, it wouldn't be a big deal. I will not provide asylum here, yet. I hope she just gives it up soon before too much happens. Sadly, it's never that easy.

Having witnessed by chance the two of them "interact" on the Summit some days ago i assumed they were well past the shooting phase. I'm shocked that it seems i was wrong and everybody is outraged by this settling of a very personal score through combat in defiance of some kind of corporate regulation or something.

The Caldari are very different people, huh.

Are you saying that it's normal and acceptable to resolve an interpersonal conflict with violence? I'm aware that such may be considered the default capsuleer response, but let's not be complacent when it happens. If the Caldari are "different" for preferring that interpersonal conflicts be resolved without gunfire, then I think I like to be different.

Besides, the usual Caldari attitude is "separate your personal and professional lives"

If you dislike somebody, that's not an issue. That's between you and them. Sort it out or not, an interpersonal falling-out is none of my business, nor the corporation's nor the State's. Happiness and mutual respect are not mandatory, and would be unenforceable if they were.

STPRO pilots shooting at STPRO pilots, however, is a professional matter. It's effectively insurrection, treason and sabotage. So of course there's outrage involved. you don't shoot the people who are flying under the same banner as you, end of story.
