Shield Phoon

Putting together a shield phoon now even with with a Coproc and a sig amp, i still have 2 open slots and i'm just not sure what to put there. Also i'm choosing between this a Raven. I have Minmatar BS 5 but only Caldari BS 4. I've grown bored of turrets and want to try a new weapon system. Any help is appreciated.
If possible can someone show me a good armor tank setup comparable to this shield setup using no rigs slots? Thanks

As a general rule, PvE shield fits > PvE armour fits for a given ship provided that you can get the shield fit to work, because the incoming damage is very predictable and once you can tank a scenario, the only useful improvements are more damage (which means low slots for damage mods) and more speed (which means not fitting eg: armor rigs)

If you're willing to put some ISK into it - as you clearly are - you can make that shield fit considerably more efficient. Here's a very tight fit using similar mods, with the expensive boost amp dropped for a T2 with the same CPU and only 1.5% less boost efficiency and the ISK spent on Caldari Navy BCUs (each of which free up 16 CPU) - you'll need a 1% CPU implant assuming you don't have launcher rigging V trained. If you train up than you can fit it without the implant and put in a Halo or Snake set. It has the same tank as your fit, and candidly, it's going to be tricky to fly in some L4s. But the DPS is insane.

As an alternative idea, you could drop the tank a little and use a Micro Jump Drive and an Afterburner combo instead.

The tank is little, but will do for smaller missions. Otherwise do you jump 100km away to stay out of the kill zone and use the full range of the cruise missiles. The AB is for getting from gate to gate and to pick up loot.

Erm. Fleet 'phoon is a very different ship. It doesn't get the missile damage application bonus at all but retains the old 'phoon's split weapon bonus. They're not really comparable. Kind of like the Domi/NDomi these days -- but more so.

Fleet phoon has more missile dps but worse application, though with the drone abilities of the fleet phoon you don't need to worry about shooting the small stuff.
