PLEX Cards (buy with real money sell for ingame money, you are literly creating A LOAD of money out of nowhere),

The very important point is that actually, the money is absolutely not created out of nowhere but has been made by other players.
The bounties, insurance money etc.. they pay the plex with isk that has been created out of nowhere, but selling Plex doesn't create isk.

yes i know money comes from players, but the item it self that the player brought with real money did not earn it with in game means, so its like hes just magically making an item appear outta nowhere

You've got the concept a bit backwards.

This is as nice as I get. Best quote ever https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=4137165#post4137165

While I doubt that I'll ever achieve take (can't even make 100m ISK) I do have to ask how long it took people.

Or are all the Freighter pilots in the game buying and sell PLEX?

Sending you a PM, you may want to look at it and see if you're interested.

No, it's like he magically instigated a transfer of 500m from another player to him.

It's really not hard to understand...

Right, which is not creating wealth and therefore has no impact whatsoever on inflation.

Ive still never seen my personal wallet go beyond 600mil

I look at that sorta number and figure what a waste then go buy stuff and usually within 30 minutes blow it up, some folk have excellent killmails off me and loot of course.

am i doing it wrong ?

I've been playing for about a month and a half. During that time I have earned approximately 210 mil isk. In my first 14 days (free trial period), I earned about 24 mil isk. I spent about 17 mil on a Navy Comet and fits. I did some quests and got some loot, ships, and cash. I mined ore (veldspar - before I knew any better).

I began saving for a Retriever and fits. I had saved up approximately 34 mil and bought my Retriever. I was on my way to pick up a part in a low sec station when I got ambushed - in my Navy Comet. *sigh* Got killed; lost my ship. I got the part in Dodixie instead, but I had to pay 300K more for it than that Low Sec place. That part cost me 1.5 mil isk (plus my lost Navy Comet and fits - 17 mil isk).

I fitted the Retriever and began mining in earnest. I made back the cost of the Retriever and fits, and bought a new Navy Comet (I like it's aggressive looks). As of this post, I have 71 mil isk in the bank. All told however, earned cash, ships and loots in my hanger (including the lost ship), I estimate my total earned is 210 mil isk.

Now if I were to do some extrapolation... I'd guess it would take me about 1.5 months to earn 200 mil. 200 mil x 5 = 1bil, so 5 x 1.5 months = 7.5 months to earn my first bil isk. However, that would include loots in hangers, bought and lost ships, etc. I may only have half a bil isk in the bank at that time......... Or maybe my losses will be greater, and I'll have even less cash than that.....

Watch this space.  New exciting signature in development.

It took me about a month to reach 1b liquid, but I bought a PLEX, which put me half way there. Eve is like real life in the sense that it takes money to make money. Once you have some isk and find your niche you can make serious bank if you put your mind to it.

How long would that be for a Drake?

Most people here appears to be talking about ways that involve sleepers and really extensive ships. Did anyone achieve 1bn in anything smaller than a BC?

Well, I've never had a Billion, either long or short form, so clearly I am doing something wrong...

Step One Explore null sec
Step Two find A relic site with 40 intact armor plates in 5 containers.
Step Three Don't get blown up on the way back to jita.
Step Four Billion Isk acquired.

I had 2 Billion my 3rd day playing. Bought Game Time Codes and sold them on the forums. Best thing I ever did in the first year of playing. It gave me a stake better than the 5K you get as a new character...

Everyone is always repeating the mantra "Don't Trust Anyone" ad nauseum... If I can't trust the guys I play with, why bother playing with them at all? Fly Solo...

The average is 20mil per hour. Your skills, desire and understanding the risk vs reward concept may earn you more. So, if you can net 20mil per hour, it will take 50 hours (6.25 eight hour days) to make a bil. EvE has a unique pay to pay to play where you can purchase ships, modules and skill books much faster than the average earner buy purchasing and trading PLEX. About 530 million for $19.95 means you can have 1.6 billion instantly for a mere $39.90...

With your leet counting skills I wouldn't hand out any advice.

I don't really keep track of such things, but until I bought GTC's or Plex, I never had a bil on me.

Now my corp mates tend to keep track of stuff, and I was told last month I netted 70 mil for the corp, at 10% tax that means I killed 700mil worth of rats. Maybe a few hours here and there and a dedicated evening push on a Wednesday or something, so maybe around 30 hours of work, give or take?

I suppose that's not bad for running the belts in a -0.4 system. I could have had a better average, but sometimes I just run anoms with friends that lowers my overall tick earning, my best so far is earning 8.9mil a tick, so if I work hard and the rat gods smile upon me, I can make just under 30 mil an hour.

You make a valid point, good Sir or Madam.

My first billion ISK liquid was at the end of my second month. I've never dropped below it.
Some days I make nothing some days a few billion. Most of the time its a few hundred mil here and there when I'm out making money.

Yes... well.. i do have BC and carriers and stuffz, but i made my billion pvping on the market Big smile
Not that hard, find out how much it costs to build stuff, sell stuff on market for buildcost+profit, if someone sells low enough under the buildcost, just buy their stack and sell it for buildcost + profit.

First billion took many months to earn, each consecutive billion consumed half of the time needed for previous billion until it's all ended up with a billion per week(end).
