I need help, i was told i can compress what i mine to make it eaiser to move, but i can only see BPO for the actual rocks like veldspar etc and not the minerals.

If i wanted to compress like

20m tritanium
3m Isogen
10m Pyerite

etc

how would i do it so that i can move it easier as im not sure how to

Any advise would be great

Short version:
Take minerals, make into modules which are smaller than their components, refine modules at the destination.

Suggestions for modules.

Don't compress, it only makes sense when moving stuff from high to low-null or back. because additional volume turns into additional jumps using 7billon isk ships... unless you are using jump freighters, you are moving stuff in cheap industrials or freighters that don't justify compression. just don't haul more than you are willing to lose and you'll be fine.

also remember that the cost is not just the production time for the rails, but also the mineral lost due to reprocessing.

Keep in mind mineral compression and decompression requires "perfect refine" skills (including Metallurgy 5 + Scrapmetal Processing 5 [as you're recovering the compressed minerals]) for zero waste.

If you're not Refinery Foreman - Elite yet, it's not worthwhile, especially for such low volume (and yes, 20mil Veld is low volume in a mining corp. Some missions offer 6 million Veld alone).

If you're in highsec, and can't move the minerals yourself, consider getting Red frog, or Push Industries to do it.

Or just a public courier contract. Just set an appropriate collateral.

Ah, no.

Really, this is just basic stuff here. Take 5 seconds, look it up, and then post.

You forgot that a lot of the waste involved in building modules for compression and the reprocessing them is the Material InEfficiency of said modules, no amount of skills will get round that, only pure research time.

eg, one of the more popular modules are 425mm railgun I's, even after 6 months in constant research (ME1754) you still lose 6 tritanium (needs ME20498 for 0 waste) and 1 pyerite (needs ME5258 for 0 waste) as waste. Granted these are of little consequence, but if you're building off a poorly researched blueprint then you could be wasting some of the more expensive minerals.

Google "eve online mineral compression" and read. Face it, you are going to have to read how to do it one way or another, here in the forums or on websites. But doing your own research makes you look like less of a ....
