Tats and other Avatar Stuff...what's the point without WIS?

You would know, and tell and invariably someone would look at your full avatar and buy those boots, and tell and then someone else would look at the full avatar.....

CCP wants WiS. We know this. We know they wanted it badly enough that they were greedy, so much so that they almost ruined the Eve community to do it. The backlash is now known as the summer of rage. But it doesn't mean CCP still doesn't desire it. It's a cash cow for them. They know this. And so now, they're cultivating the desire rather than forcing the feature, albeit they're still doing it wrong. That does not mean they're not working on it. Obviously they're releasing either new or existing content in the form of tattoos.

If it's new content, well, they're still working on it to an extent. If it's existing, never released, content then they're capitalizing on existing features. Either way, given enough demand and a lack of resistance, we'll have WiS....eventually. Think of it like winter in Game of Thrones......3 seasons....winter is coming....and still no winter.....it's coming...maybe next season, IDK....but it's coming. Same for WiS.

It just seems to me that with its release and CCP current level of development they're doing it wrong wrong wrong.

Pretty much pointless, much like ship-spinning really is pointless but people still love it for what it is.

What I want to know is, SINCE we're never ever going to interact with any other "WIS" avatar, why can't we have the option to "STRIP FITTINGS" in the privacy of our own CQ's ??

It has nothing to do with humble aspirations. After the Incarna debacle and the micro-transaction nonsense that followed in tow, I am happy that CCP has turned to do more re-iterative work on things than mindlessly add new features, like Incarna.

But yes, if new features is what you want, then EVE isn't for you.

edit: But speaking of new features, I do like the new hacking mini-game, even if it could use some small tweaking.

Some people don't understand simple fact: for some players *walking in station is core gameplay* - spaceships are optional mini-game and it doesn't matter if it's single-unit strategy a-la EVE or twitchy simulator like SC. In fact I don't like both strategies and simulators and whatever game will have better "walking in station" module - it will get my money. Now it's EVE and it has most dull WiS module one can imagine - for SC it will be very easy to outperform it.
