Tats and other Avatar Stuff...what's the point without WIS?

While I think all this stuff is pretty neat and cool and all...this stuff doesn't seem to have a point without Walking in Stations? Yeah, I could throw on the star tee we got a bit back and you'd see this little red triangle, but nothing else. If I got a quafe tee...I'd just have a different color.

Yeah, I could change my avatar but I like it the way it is. Regardless though, if I got some sweet boots with flames on them...no one would ever know. I got the pre-order, but my tattoo isn't going to show either.

Is WIS coming in a form where people can see others or is this just all pointless since you can't really see 90% of it anyway?

Last statement i read, was something like "Nobody works on it, at the moment."

Why it's there? To make money, of course! (and the sleeve tattoos were made a loooong time ago, tbh i think i saw them first - 1-2 years ago)

I heard it was dropped period...I just don't get all the effort for new clothing items we'll never really use.

Whats the point of graphics at all in the game? We just stare at the overview all the time anyway.

please no sc comment, 2 different games

Us old folk will not play that game , we dont want to manully drive our ship . our eyes are to bad for that and fingers not so quick.

sc is a arcade game with differnt servers for pve & pvp and such.

srry for bad english , but that game will bring old gamers to eve for the above reasons

You would know, and tell and invariably someone would look at your full avatar and buy those boots, and tell and then someone else would look at the full avatar.....

CCP wants WiS. We know this. We know they wanted it badly enough that they were greedy, so much so that they almost ruined the Eve community to do it. The backlash is now known as the summer of rage. But it doesn't mean CCP still doesn't desire it. It's a cash cow for them. They know this. And so now, they're cultivating the desire rather than forcing the feature, albeit they're still doing it wrong. That does not mean they're not working on it. Obviously they're releasing either new or existing content in the form of tattoos.

If it's new content, well, they're still working on it to an extent. If it's existing, never released, content then they're capitalizing on existing features. Either way, given enough demand and a lack of resistance, we'll have WiS....eventually. Think of it like winter in Game of Thrones......3 seasons....winter is coming....and still no winter.....it's coming...maybe next season, IDK....but it's coming. Same for WiS.

It just seems to me that with its release and CCP current level of development they're doing it wrong wrong wrong.
