Single InfoWar buff - Make Sensor Integrity affect all EWAR.

Currently the Information Warfare Link - Sensor Integrity series is a boost that only gives your fleet defense against one race's EWAR - caldari.

I would like to see it provide a reduction in the effectiveness of remote sensor dampeners, tracking disruptors, and target painters on your fleet.

This would not give a direct tracking, targeting range/speed, or signature radius bonus --- only reduce the effect of ewar modules on your own fleet.

And, like the bonus which provides a boost to those modules, Electronic Superiority, each defense could be balanced individually.


The bonus for the Electronic Superiority is :
ECM Command Bonus 2.50%
commandBonusRSD Remote Sensor Dampening Command Bonus 1.50%
commandBonusTD Tracking Disruption Command Bonus 1.50%
commandBonusTP Target Painting Command Bonus 2.50%

So, would the defense module give the same bonuses, only negative?

Well, currently it gives a 3.75 % bonus to sensor strength, so honestly it would probably be a bit more.

3.75 %, 2.25%, 2.25%, 3.75% or so.


Would this make it too strong? Should it give a lesser bonus for the added versatility? I think it's arbitrarily counter-active to a single race, and info links may be though of more if they had an affect on the other types of ewar.

There is a link that reduces your sig radius and I think if this change were made it would be too strong.

As someone who uses ewar I say no to this idea as I am fed up of ewar being repeatedly nerfed because other people don't understand it.

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...
