As many of you may have read, Test Alliance Please Ignore has had some financial difficulties of late. Membership has stepped up and done incredible things, raising much more isk than we could have hoped for and this is currently keeping our reimbursement program strong.

However, we have something in the works that WILL push the war back entirely in our favor, allow us to crush the CFC and completely remove them from Fountain. The problem with this plan (which I cannot go into now, but you will see on Evenews24.com soon should we raise enough!) is that it requires a substantial amount of starting capital. Hence our opening up war bonds to the public.

If you hate the CFC and want to punish it from wherever in the universe you are, here is your chance! All donations are accepted and will be paid off at the end of the war with a 10% return (amounts under 10 million are excluded due to the expected 10 isk spam). Alternatively, you may choose to cede the 10% return and join a Test Alliance Please Ignore corporation with any donation over 500 million. In the event that an entire corporation is interested in this you may reap the same benefit but with a minimum donation of 3 billion isk. Corporations will receive 2 sov systems of their very own including all non r64 moons.

War Bonds may be purchased by sending isk to "RJACK Industries" with the reason "WAR BOND"

Thank you for your help in assisting in the destruction of the CFC, remember, you CAN make a difference.

I support this product and/or service!

The more you help TEST, the better the war will be for all involved and the more good fights everyone gets!

You need to believe in yourself before you ask others to believe in you.

If you yourself think this scam is so unlikely to succeed that it doesn't even justify putting an alt into TEST then you should probably just save the 3 minutes it takes to wrote a forum post.

I'll give you a 3/10 for actually trying the idea, but only a 1/10 for your awful execution and a 0/10 for ruining it for someone who might have been able to do better.

The idea of a warbond is rather epic, and could have been a really interesting addition to the narrative.

As Mynnna pointed out the execution and planing is pretty awful. Weighed and found wanting..

Come back with a better version when there is better news from the front.

Consider MD the Banks of old, the ones that funded both sides of every war that has ever happened on Earth. To them keeping a war going, brings demand from those states to request more money to... you guessed it.. pay for people to build weapons of war... Those builders see an increase in demand and bid on those war contracts, if they win they need an influx if capital... Oh hey look the Bank is here to issue some capital for expansion!

This happens on both sides of the front, EVE is no different. The idea of War bonds to keep a battle going increases demand for War ships, which increases demand in every part of the production chain. Some may even win "Manufacturing Contracts" from those sides, and they'll be in here shortly, offing up Bonds with collateral, which we (MD) will be happy to gobble up as well...

In the end the only winners are the ones with the ISK to fuel not only the war effort, but provide ISK to those down the chain which are also feeding the war effort.

And CCP and all the Alliances though "PEW PEW" ran EVE... Twisted

Had a great response so far! The majority of the isk sent has been set aside for that new project I hinted at previously, but 10% was taken to get some of our newbros into some shiney new Blackbirds for free! They were more than slightly excited and asked for the names of the donators so that they may thank them personally. If for some reason you wish to remain anonymous please include that in the description box!

The well-off and wealthy have a moral responsibility towards the disadvantaged. So, of course, in a true gentlepersonally style GENTS cares about TESTis and has been putting a lot of effort into their welfare:

"die in quiet vain" is grammatically incorrect.

Misleading. "Resident Concierge" is actually a rabid wombat left on the station, with tiny, wombat-sized pressurized helmet. Also, he made out my dinner reservations to the wrong restaurant.

To put this horrible thread to some kind of use, how much capital would be needed (in the form of "war bonds," donations, incoming members, whatever) to be strategically relevant? 100B? 1T? What for, ships and that's it?

Are you asking what capital you need to have to play in a war like we have now??

I assume the longer the war the more you need...maybe a few trils would be enough for few months.

That's very difficult to say: an additional 50b in the alliance wallet will not win you the war, but the lack of 50b for SRP before a crucial timer might well make you lose the war.

Get some reputable backing and a plan that includes how much ISK goes where, how pilots will be reimbursed and a time table. Needs work if you are serious.

You realize OP's corp has 3 members and is not in TEST right?

I wish OP either had not done this or had done it better... there was the potential to siphon quite a lot of money from people like the guy I quoted... still possible but now slightly more difficult
