does anyone know of a caldari lvl 4 security agent that seems to give most missions against non-gurista targets. im wanting to fly a nightmare and would prefer to do caldari missions still

My understanding is that guristas are a 'natural' enemy of caldari, after all it's guristas tags that the Caldari data center agents see. This ends up meaning that you have an increased likelihood of anti-guristas missions if you're running with caldari agents, just as Minmatar are more likely to want you to kill Angels (etc).

I don't think (but don't know for sure) you can find one particular Caldari corp that will not give you those missions ... unless you change agent type from security to distribution.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

You say you want to fight non-guristas.

Have you considered missioning in non-guristas space. Maybe in Sansha or Blood Raider space?

Now if only there were some website that allowed you to search for agent based on faction, agent type, level, and location . . .

Surely there must be some "search" service on the interwebs that maybe with the inputs "eve" and "agent" would point you to that super secret website with all the agent information . . .

Or alternatively just use the agent finder ingame. All the relevant filters are there

There are numerous Caldari agents hidden within the vast expanses of the Amarr and Khanid empires. You'll still get missions against Guristas, but a large portion of the missions you get will be against "local" rats. Shop around the agents, recording which missions you get. Form memory each agent has a "pool" of about 20-30 missions, with each agent having a slightly different "pool".

Most of all, have fun, and remember that flying with friends gives you a 100% increase in effective power per friend, while running better modules on your ship will never give you that kind of power boost.

It might be a better idea to see if you can fix your weakness v guristas, rather than avoid them altogether.

In Ichoriya system in the Black Rise region, there's a Caldari Navy station with two level 4 agents. They rarely give missions agents Guristas, but one neighbouring system is low-sec so I'd say about 20% of missions try to send you in there.

No. Guristas are broken. Their ECM is still too strong. It's CCP who needs to fix their game, not the OP who needs ot devote 3-4 slots to enhanced sensor strength.

I would say it's even more than 100%. If you're getting jammed 20% of the time it's likey your buddy isn't at all. Likewise if you are focus firing, the rat has les chance to regen shields etc as it's alive for a lot less time ;)

Mission with friends and it's more fun!

And I too have a Tengu that laughs at Gurista jamming. Hahaahahaahhahhaaa!

Basically this. Alle empire factions have agents in each other's space. Just find some Caldari stations with combat agents in other faction´s space and most rats you´ll fight will be of the non-Gurista type.

Thorrinos 0.5 3 lvl 4 agents in system Ibura(1 jump)1 lvl 4 agent Isinokka(3 jump) 1lvl 4 agent. You have 5 lvl 4 agents in 3 jump range and 3 in 0.5 system(Home Guard, Spacelane Patrol)

Gurista dont jam me that often tengu or otherwise. You need to know who to kill first, can't jam when dead.

I don't find jamming near as bad as it used to be but maybe that is just me.

I have never found caldari agent with out something like 50%+ gurista.

vs serpentis - try galente sace :) 90 % missions i get vs serpentis in sinq laison
