How long did it take people to get 1bn ISK?

Yeah I do that in about 2 hours with my 10 alts in Macks literally printing the ISK. Anyone in here saying that it takes >a week is a scrub.

The average is 20mil per hour. Your skills, desire and understanding the risk vs reward concept may earn you more. So, if you can net 20mil per hour, it will take 50 hours (6.25 eight hour days) to make a bil. EvE has a unique pay to pay to play where you can purchase ships, modules and skill books much faster than the average earner buy purchasing and trading PLEX. About 530 million for $19.95 means you can have 1.6 billion instantly for a mere $39.90...

I guess one of the quickest way for new pilot to earn first billion is trading. Can be done within 2-3 weeks.

20mil an hour is really easy in lvl4s, I just started doing them a few weeks back in a SNI on an alt and 20m an hour without salvaging is pretty much your starting point. If you can be arsed to train an alt, you can have a mission runner in a SNI with T2 cruises, T2 shields and hardeners and MJD in about 3 months. From there it's how much time you feel like grinding I guess.

FW is probably your best bet for low skill point high ISK return though.

My 3rd month of playing I decided to try incursions. The fleet I was in liked the fact I was underskilled to be doing them and I wasn't afraid to try.

I made a billion on that very same weekend.

So from starting from 50mil(after insurance on my abaddon I was broke), with no passive income coming in, I had over a billion on that second day.

So to answer your question...

2 days.

A friend of mine introduced his buddy to EVE 2 months ago and after a short while he could fly a Raven. (not well skill wise but workable). He wanted to join my mull corp and rat. I told him it would e better to do incursions 1st and told him about the community I fly with most often (TVP), he dind't have much isk so I loand him the last 50 mil to buy a Raven. This was on a Friday a few eeeks ago.

He spent all of that weekend in TVP fleets doing HQs. On that following Monday he game me 100 mil as repayment and showed off he brand new navy raven AND he bought a plex for his account and used another plex for a new 2nd account....

This is why I tend to fly a bit off the chain when people tell me how poor high sec PVE is.......

Haha yea. That weekend was awesome. I will always remember armor fleet channel for all their help. crackon is a badass.

It was just doing Vanguards, but fun as hell and I ended up tipping out our OGB like 10% per site.

Not to derail this thread but I seriously think incursions do not belong in highsec.. but that's for a different thread.

The money from them is absolutely insane and finding the right people who can appreciate new blood is better than any amount of isk truth be told.

The first half a billion took me about five months. Then I did the cattle and booze thing and the other half of a billion was amassed within couple of weeks.

a few years im 10 yearsold by aguest 6th i will be in eve, and i currently got 31mil isk in wallet and around 30bil in assets

My first billion took me a year. It then only gets faster and I can make a billion in a day.

Once you have a lot can you use it to trade and make more ISKs, even when the profit is only 5%. Just needs a 20b ISKs turn-over.

These days I make it rather quickly when so inclined. When I was starting out... hard to remember. I was always trying to scrape something together so I could have a spare BS or two. I don't think I had a bill in cash in my wallet for my first year (2006) at least. I wouldn't have even been able to come up with that if I sold my stuff, I don't think.

Took me months.

I was a big, big noob, in a big, big ship. Buffer fit apoc or abaddon and most of them were fitted with medium guns. I didn't know anything about the game and i'm not the guy doing tutorials, so...i was a stupid noob losing all my ships in L4 until a friend came back to Eve and told me about the...armor rep and explained me some ships were better for armor and some for shield.
