Downloading Launcher Update Fails ... *NEW* 19-July

The Launcher fails to download the latest launcher update, so I'm unable to connect to EVE. It gets about two thirds of the way through the progress bar and returns an error message.

This is version 2.1.571330. Anyone else experiencing this? CCP - any insight as the problem or expected ETA on a fix?

Addendum: After about a dozen attempts over the course of an hour or so it was finally able to download the update for the launcher. No patch notes, updates or anything - kind of disappointing CCP.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
