Price is around 300m now. The Demios has just got a 4th mid slot in exchange for losing a useless utility high, also got a buff which I think is going to attract a lot of Vigilant pilots as they are cheaper and of course insurable against loss.

Yeah. T2 was buffed. Awesome. But guess what will be buffed in due time: Pirate ships. Which according to CCP's rebalance chart are supposed to be better than T2 and navy IIRC.

You are clearly an idiot, I feel no need to fill in your lack of EVE knowledge by explaining further.

Time frame ..... .. price dropping

Yeah I get you but for now the price will dive as Deimos takes up slack, of course the Vigilant will rise up again on it's buff.

Have you ever heard the maxim "Better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're an idiot and open it and remove all doubt?" I think it applies to you. You should exercise lurking more before embarrassing yourself with arrogant posting. Being arrogant is bad in itself but forgivable when you're right, being a wrong arrogant is just plain laughable.

Do please fill in my lack of Eve knowledge though. I'm having a crappy day and would love to laugh more at your lack of wits.

People are generally pretty ******* stupid and don't bother doubting their conclusions in the first place.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

Fixed.

Anything you can dock is insurable, to a greater or lesser extent.

Supers still get their default insurance payout, so to be even more pedantic...

There was doubt before this thread? I don't think lurking more will help this one.

But hey, I'll bite anyway.

Brewlar, what do you mean by your claim that the Deimos is insurable in a way that the Vigilant is not?

Ruby what's the max payout on insurance on the Vigilant and now what's the max payout for the Deimos? The max payout on a Vigilant is 10m ISK because that's all a vigilant costs to build in minerals. The entire cost is in the rarity of it's BPC drop which is not insurable.

SO flying a Deimos which is,

A) As good as a vigilant
B) Much Cheaper than a vigilant
C) Does not get a rock bottom Insurance deal ie 10m on a 300m loss ( still gets bad insurance but no as bad as faction BPC ships)

Makes Sense,

Yeah for being spoon fed knowledge.

I'm not commenting on A or B.

As for C, the mineral build cost of a Deimos is actually about 3m ISK less than the mineral build cost of a Vigilant. (10m in minerals vs 13m).

Neither are generally considered to be worth insuring, and the relative Insurance payout has nothing to do with their popularity.

1. Ruby IS a tool. I agree on that point.

2. Vigilant still has it's 90% web which is kind of a big deal. I doubt that Deimos being buffed slightly will majorly damage the price of the Vigilant, given that the Vigilant was never a particuarly good ship in the first place.
