How to turn off hangar fog?!

Has anyone figured out how can one disable the fog inside the station hangar without setting shaders to "low"? I think it looks way better without the fog (specially minmattar stations.. really crampy and rusty like) and iirc there are a lot of people who like it without the fog as well.

If there isn't a way for it to be removed, can Team Papercuts™ put that option on the backlog?

Yeah, just turn all the graphics settings to low. No more fog

That, actually, would be seriously awesome ...
... i mean, if we could do that. ^^

I believe they've put fog into higher detail levels because
it takes some strain off the GPU while looking good, but still making sense visually.

Make a thread about it.
I'd vote for it. :)

If it does lower GPU resource load then keep it.

Otherwise I agree. Looks better without fog. (not that my shaky laptop knows the difference.)

I could tell you how to do that. I could also tell you how to make your ships appear pink if you like. Although no one else would see your pink ship. Only you.

But I won't.

It's a big no-no to hack the client and I'd like to keep my subs in good standing.

Well I was going to say something about how it shows the size of the hanger, but the rave party is a far better explination
