Add some serial numbering into the collectors editions, so that we have that bit extra to brag about specially if we get some of the first ones. If it would possible to put the numbering on the rifter's that would be awesome.

So it says this tattoo is permanent. Does that mean that once I apply it, it cannot be removed, or is it like the other tattoos in that I can change it around later if I decide?

It makes sense that you try to recover as much as possible of the development cost by selling the art assets already created for cash. However considering what a failure Ambulation/Incarna/Walking in Stations turned out to be I'm highly surprised you still are trying to kick this dead horse instead of just letting it die in peace with COSMOS and other features that never got finished off..

We weren't charged for these, so how is it double-charging? It remains to be seen whether tattoo sleeves are monocle-level items (i.e.: hideously expensive luxury items) or GAP-level items (i.e.: everyone has them and nobody cares). Maybe CCP will release versions at different price points, who knows?

For the moment, I'll be wearing mine just as soon as the character editor works on the Mac again.

No worries, read the italicized paragraph towards the end of the blog. It'll all be available to the rest of us soon enough, assuming I'm interpreting it correctly. I don't quite understand the need for a collector's edition to this game other than for temporary bragging rights over in-game assets, and for the sake of stocking shelves and giving people something to hold in their hands, but it is what it is, I guess.

They were developed with our money, CCP has been grabbing our money for a year since they were done but never were released, now they are released if you just hand out more money to CCP.

I wonder how would you feel if they charged you real money for a special skillbook in order to fly certain ship types -say, the new Navy editions.

I think it's like the other trade able clothing
If you don't use it, it's an item in your hangar. (And when you get podded with it equipped, you keep it)

The issue that I think he has is that while other clothing items like shirts and pants are removable and can be swapped out (with purchased clothing pieces moving to your item hangar when removed) the use of the word 'permanent' and the (generally) permanent nature of RL tattoos, he's wondering if (and/or when) you decide to remove the tattoo, if it becomes an item again in your hangar that can be sold on the market, or if it's gone forever.
