I Can't Update And Play Eve

I haven't been able to play eve since the current update. The launcher is offline. When I enter through exefile I cannot login. A window pops up so I can update my client. When try it always gets stuck at 0.

What can I do to solve this problem? Is there any manual update? Thanks

I just got EVE this week. I've spent more time screwing with this launcher than I have playing the game. Wouldn't work on a fresh install, now the update broke it again.


Your launcher is bad and you should feel bad.

Worked for XP but not on W7 still having the problem.

This is really annoying because each time you guys update the game, I have to download the new version of the client and reinstall it again. This is like the third time I have this problem with this game. You guys really need to fix your buggy service. The new launcher is also constantly with problems. It's cool but not functional.

As I can see there are many others with the same problem so it's not from my side. This is a paying service so it's not like I need to go through all this effort time after time.

Are you running any proxy or anti-virus or anti-malware software on the machine where the update doesn't work? Did you create some custom short-cuts to the launcher which may be incorrectly set up?

Same issue. Occurred at home and now at work.

I use AVG at home, we have McAfee at work (and no, I can't turn it off). I haven't had any problems at all until two nights ago (US PDT)
