Help me CCP Soundwave, you're my only hope (or Post ALL your Little Things improvements wishes!)

Auto-reload for grouped lasers when a crystal breaks doesn't always work, so have to change to a different ammo type then back to the one I want to use to resume firing.

here's times when you REALLY want another slot somewhere, so the idea behind this is at a station service you have the option to gain and assign an additional slot anywhere on your ship, however....
The trade off is you HAVE to sacrifice 2 slots somewhere else to do so, ideas to keep this reasonable balanced, ie you have to make a sacrifice to make a gain.

Secondly:
T3's one idea I've had for fozzi's rebalance is the subs gives you a total number of slots, however you assign where you want them (to a max of 6 in highs, 8 in mids/lows) this allows players to CHOOSE where they want the slots not have slot positions determined by the subs, Idea is to make T3's more flexable in gerneral terms and allow players to have a choice how their T3's are loaded out.
The other idea is add extra subs allowing tank types not usualy associated with that pertic race, IE tengus being able to be armour tanked and getting bonuses off the subs, legions/proteus being able to shield tank effectively etc, but the alternative tank type should NOT be quite as good as the others, ie tengu armour tank subs slightly worse either on EHP slightly than say a armour fit proteus or legion, or slightly worse resists on armour etc.
however extra slots on a T3 does NOT translate into extra weapon slots, as always the max weapon slots avail in the highs should be 6 dependant on subs fitted.

Lastly and not least:

PIRATE FACTION T3'S :)
(plus drone faction T3 :)
Can not see the pirate factions allowing themselves to get behind technology wise to the empires, plus given the ready availability of standard T3's currently not like they can not get hold of to mod etc :)
obliously just like pirate faction ships in general should require the dual skills with normal T3's same as the pirate ships require gall/min cald/amarr etc, IE gall/min stratigic cruiser, amarr/cald strategic cruiser.
The invention and manufacture of these would require pirate faction data cores, along with the normal invention phase associated with T3 production.
Personaly I'd say put these in high,low and nullsec radar sites and DO NOT add them to the pirate factions LP stores, this will give people even more incentive to go hunting radar sites in all sec space.

Suggestion: Add more variety to missions by adding secondary objectives and "Don'ts" in mission briefing

Note: secondary objectives could give you extra rewards but are harder to accomplish, by ignoring "Don'ts" you will loose 75% of the reward, e.g. blowing up a structure or killing someone you are not supposed too

This may our may not have already been posted here, but just in case. I'm going to post it here anyways. This one is v ery simple and its something that I'm really not sure why it hasn't entered thus far. I'd like to see the option for us to drag and drop drone groups onto unused weapon slots. You would not believe how simple and helpful this would be. By allowing people to link drones you give them an option of using a hotkey for them. Not just for one group like the F key is now. You can literrly have several drone groups all set to various hotkey's.

Obviously carriers would benefit from this alot as it would allow them to split up their drones into the various groups and make them easier to manage overall But it would also help miners easily switch from mining drones to combat drones on the fly.

Lets face it the drone menu we have now it AWFUL and it needs to be overhauled but at the very least give us the option of placing our drones onto our weapon slots and setting them to various hotkeys.

Info Window - Fix Alignment of Tabs

Give all players a bio tab, whether or not it is empty. Not having tabs consistently aligned messes with comparison for any items with different numbers of tabs in the info window.

Idea/Fix is to make all the character info tabs be consistently coded by programmers. Currently, selecting info for any item with 6 info cells, then another item with 5 or 7 info cells changes which info tab you have selected.

Example: a player without a bio has 5 tabs. I will refer to this player as Player A. Char info for Player A > click tab # 3 selects Employment History. [All 5 tabs are: Description, Notes, Employment History, Decorations, and Standings]
Next, a player with a bio has 6 tabs. I will refer to this player as Player B. Char info for Player B > click tab # 4 selects Employment History. [All 6 tabs are: Bio, Description, Notes, Employment History, Decorations, and Standings]
Left-clicks on successive character names in chat brings up character info on each char, but if you want to compare the players by bio, notes, employment history, decorations, or standings/etc... an additional click is often required to match up the correct tab of players with a bio to the players without a bio.

Currently, the system seems to be based on the total number of tabs. Select an item/player with 5 tabs, do info and click the 5th tab. then do info on a blueprint with 2 tabs. The last available tab or the 2nd tab is selected. Now, do info on an item/player with 5 tabs again. The 2nd tab is selcted now.

Do info on a player without a bio and select the 5th tab (Standings). Then do info on a player with 6 tabs. The 5th tab (Decorations) is selected.


Simple fix: give all players a bio tab on char info. If those players want it empty, so be it they will have an empty bio.

Valuation estimate for researched blueprints and blueprint copies shown on mouse-over of the item. Whenever contracts list values of all items, blueprint values are included with a value of 0.0 (zero) isk for any blueprint copies. Some reasonable standard needs to be set in stone to reduce financial searching to figure out a baseline value of common items like copies of blueprints.

Feel free to add to this request. I forget if there are other items that need to be in this request with blueprint copies.

Change fleet invites so they work when about to take a star gate.

Don't have chat/fleet invites steal focus so you can't close them by accident.

Remote stacking/splitting of items.

Option to automatically sort the locked targets list based on tags.

Remove the 2 week limit on repackaging a station container.

Option to sort the standings list in the character sheet by name instead of modified standing.

Suggestion: Apply fit name to the ship when using "Fit" button

Note: this change alone will let mass-fitters save up to 20-40% of their time. Especially useful for logistics people who run prefitted ships and reimbursement programs for their corps. Separate check-box "Apply fit name" can be added into "Fitting Management" window to keep current approach workable too.

The addition of rigs and charges into fit was already a huge step forward for mass-fitters. However, in most cases it still requires two-steps currently - fit ship using "Fitting Management" window, then change ship name via context menu (to distinguish ships and d-scan security reasons).

Of course, wet dream of all mass-fitters is still a tool, or station service, that will allow person to fit/rename/prepare multiple ships as a single action. Although, it's obviously not a part of this "Small things" thread.

Rigs on T3 defensive systems, have the rigs attached to the sub so when you swap subs it doesn't destroy the rigs mearly removes them along with the sub, so you can fit diff defensive subs with diff types of rigs, ie augmented shields/armour sub has T2 shield/armour rigs on you say swap the armour sub for a sub increasing reppers and have the ideal rig setup you choose earlier already on there, this saves wasting rigs when changing subs etc on T3s

Suggestion: Remove animation of "Filtering options" panel in "Science & Industry - Pick Installation" window

Note: Picking the manufacturing/research slot each time you put a job on POS is already an utterly boring process. The animation of the "Filtering options" panel requires POS worker to wait even more since it's almost impossible to pick assembly line while this "animation" is happening. There is no real need for this "animation" and this panel can be shown instantly.

Suggestion: Ability to drag contacts group and drop into inventory as a single "Address book" object (and move it back to contracts list)

Note: The main reason is to provide the ability for the pilots to share, sell, and distribute contact lists. For example, send "corp executives list" to new corporation members. And, of course, share the blocked lists between players (or sell "anti local spam" lists).

Suggestion: Do not show today's data on chart within item's "Price History" tab

Note: Market data for current day is often broken for some items. Min/Max (and Donchian channel) values are multiple times higher than the actual market prices in some cases, making the whole chart unreadable (with Min/Max or Donchian channel turned on). Not sure where these values come from because they are not in graph/tables on the next day.

Suggestion: Put additional information about incoming/outgoing damage into combat log for after-fight analysis

Note: Add a separate tab in "Notifications and Log" window. Store the messages currently shown on-screen there (even if log window is closed) and provide additional information there - distance, relative speed, angular speed. Put each value (timestamp, in/out, weapon, damage, distance, etc) into a separate column so the pilot can copy (or export) this data after combat for analysis. This should be especially useful for newbie pvp pilots (corps, fw) fighting solo/small gangs to evaluate and improve their combat performance.
