Anyone else thoroughly entertained that sleeve tats just made their way in as another marketing push?

The true EVE Gold Club: monocles, golden pods, and tatts everywhere.

(edit: please note, I'm glad more vanity items are making their way in-game. I just wish there was a way to make a player industry out of it, instead of it being slowly monetized by CCP Marketing.)

Anyone know if these will be available to purchase using Aurum for those of us who don't pre-order? I doubt I'll actually get one, but the option would be nice.

You can buy them on the market if someone decides to sell theirs.

I believe at some point we will make them available through different ways, but the pre-order people will be the only ones sporting them for some time.

I am at work, but I just activated my right arm Drone tattoo. \o/

Can't wait to get home & get inked. Will update my photo afterwards.

Now just waiting for my gold pod.

So Gold Membership basically. All the people that have been asking for this, for years, and you make it available for 'some time' (who knows how long) for ONLY people REBUYING the game they already have.

Is this a joke?

Just posting this so that people don't think they are getting exclusive collectors items with the boxed set.

Anslo, people really aren't pre-ordering the boxed set to get the game. They are pre-ordering it to get a collectable item and some goodies before anyone else can (often probably just to make inordinate amounts of ISK from those with no patience). I'm sure you'll see these available on the market for sale in short order.
